I have edited the afm-config.xml and edited the section

This is an issue we face daily with our user base. The changes in screens such as the Building Ops console layout and recent filters is lost and the have to be done each time the cache is cleared. especially when a default browser clear is forced by the system admin. these configurations should be stored against the user in the DB as a table of bespoke user config.

There could also be a concept of re-generating the resulting PDF into the work request as a document attached to that work request
