An error occurred while saving the comment As part of this idea we have implemented an API that exports data from custom Archibus data sources and that allows connecting Archibus to Power BI or other BI platforms.
The PowerBI examples (datasources and reports) are available in Archibus V2022.04.

An error occurred while saving the comment We are looking into allowing modifying the Web Central view System Administration / ARCHIBUS System Administration / CAD Manager / Set Asset Text Visibility to allow setting asset text visibility without having to restart the application server.
The effort and risk is not trivial, so there is no estimate on when this would be available. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Currently there are 2 options to bulk delete records:
- In Smart Client, open a view, apply a restriction and then select (CTRL+A) the return records and delete them (DELETE key on keyboard). The wrinkle here is that if you have more than one page of records, it only deletes one page worth of records at a time.
- The other option, as a System Administrator navigate to Run Database Update Wizard, select the option to Run Script from Local File. In the Script file box, type in the DELETE statement and then click Run. This will result in deleting the desired records.Please let me know your opinion.

This is something we have on our roadmap. Here is what we have so far and what we are working on.
1) Existing: From the Scorecard or Pie Chart buckets you can choose to drill into a specific granularity - ex. by Site. From there if the metric is linked to a drill down view you can drill further. -> This is already supported. You can assign a drill down view to the metric from System Administrator - Add In Manager - Define Tracking Metrics view.
2) Partially supported: If the view allows it, the metric can pass filter parameters to the view to filter on the selected granularity (ex. by Site) -> This is partially supported, because while metrics can pass parameters not all the view allow this kind of filtering. This is a issue we have on our roadmap, for which we will try take an iterative approach, since there are many views that would need to be changed.
Other notes on existing functionality:
-> Scorecards and Pie Charts buckets allow drilling into a granularity and then into a view.
-> Alerts and Bar Chart buckets allow only drilling to a view for the already displayed granularity.
-> Home Pages support VPA, that can restrict the data to the user's site and/or building.Please let me know if there is anything else you had in mind, so I can analyze it.

To make sure that I understand the idea: Instead of attaching documents to equipment, work requests, etc., the FMer should have the alternative to enter an URL to an external document management system (either cloud - ex. Google Drive or enterprise).An error occurred while saving the comment In your opinion, what would be the top candidate forms/views for this feature? (ex. Lease Portfolio Console - Add/Edit Lease)
This can help narrow down the effort. -

Is there a particular table your customers would need to extend (ex. rooms, equipment)?
Can you give me some example on when this would be used instead of using the existing Add Field functionality?
