Since the user is able to change his/her locale from Web Central, it would be consistent to have this option available from Workplace as well.

In addition, for GDPR compliance, an "opt out" option should be granted for employees who do not want to share their location / booking information with colleagues.

This was fixed for some Workplace views in recent versions but not everywhere (e.g. with the new Calendar view in V2022.02 first day of week is still Sunday even though we are using a French locale)
Also weekdays initials are still from English -

Yes, I second this. More and more of our clients are considering Service Now as a unified front end for their request management. I recall there was an idea to have a standard Service Now connector, has this gone any far ?

Security becomes more and more critical for our clients.
Significants efforts have been made but there are still gaps and practical things to be done.
For example, when you activate view-level security, the index of views accessible to a user is refreshed only at server restart, which makes it dangerous to activate for production environment where the server cannot be restarted easily.
