  1. Users that do not have room reservations enabled do not require the reservation assist feature in the spaces list.

    This can cause confusion with end users thinking that rooms can be reserved because there is a reservation assistant.

    Engage has been updated to remove the Reservation Assist for rooms, spaces and desks if the Engage user doesn't have permission to book the space.

  2. Client would like to allow their end users to book recurring bookings in response to Covid-19. An individual may only come in on Tuesday, Thursday based on their team's scheduled time in the office.

    Serraview Insights offers a number of reports and dashboards which provide details on booking activity utilisation from Engage booking data and other activity sources, including check in history via floor plan view.

  4. In support of RTW, temporarily limit desk booking to "all-day" only, rather than specific time. This avoids different people at same desk on a given day, with no cleaning between bookings, if we only do night-time cleaning of booked/used desks as reported.

    Engage now defaults to having all day reservations for desks. Spaces remain unchanged.

    In a future release, Administrators will be able to toggle between all day reservations or hourly.

  5. Photos in Engage look great. Can I have a way for my Space Planners to update those photos through the backend?

    Happy to announce that Space Planners can now assign or upload photos for rooms or desks through the attributes tab in VBS.

  7. Right now, the acknowledgement language is only set at a global level, meaning all buildings have the same acknowledgement language when a booking is made.

    There is a need for the acknowledgement language to be custom at the building level.

  8. If possible, can a secondary background file be generated for use in the Engage app/tool that would provide a simplified view of items. This would allow for a less cluttered look in the app/tool to make it easier for the Engage user to navigate.

    This would allow the local team maintaining the Serraview system to keep the detailed plans for their purposes, yet allow for the simplified Engage view.

    Not sure what the best way to implement this would/should be. Specific layer names, or text in the layer name in the CAD file to not generate for the Engage version…

  9. Could you please create a simple user guide that our employees can use to locate colleagues and reserve desks, etc. in the web version? The help page online has too many details that are more relevant to power users, and I am looking for something "dumbed down" oriented toward regular company users. Thank you!

  14. Send a push notification on the day of booking (at a nominated local time) to inform the user which desk they have booked for the day.

It would be excellent if there was a pop-up feature where you can display a mandatory message before users could reserve desks or do anything else i.e. It would display if you are exhibiting any signs of COVID, please do not book or, there are site awareness considerations before visiting or even site closure or app updates

  16. As an Engage and Serraview Administrator,
    I would like to be able to import or bulk update an employee's record in the People Directory with MS Teams Chat information
    So that I can update these details for all employees quickly, rather than one by one.

  17. I have a client with large teams in neighborhoods which spread over multiple floors - extended neighbourhood. They would like these teams to be able to book desks within the entire neighborhood but are limited to where the people are allocated in VBS. Client would like a more dynamic way to book and manage core vbs data for flexible teams with large neighborhoods which span more than one floor.

  18. As an Engage user/administrator,
    I would like the ability to change the accent color
    so that people with colorblindness will be able to use the app.

    It seems currently the accent for changes from a dark color to a lighter color (example: dark blue to light blue). This seems to be harsh on the eye as some people in our company can not distinguish certain colors due to being color blind.

    We have added a pin to selected desks or spaces. This will be released to the app store today or tomorrow pending the review process.

    We will be looking at other enhancements such as colors, contrast and shapes in the future to further enhance this area.

  19. I would like to be able to search for people and view which desks they have booked so I can book desk near them.
    I want to be able to view bookings and not just check-ins.

    In tomorrows release, we are including a new feature called timelines.

    At a given point in time, a user to easy:
    – See availability statuses on the floorplan
    - Search for where someone has reserved a desk
    - Search for available desk or spaces and reserve them

  20. When you select a desk, it's highlighted in a darker blue, but the difference is not obvious/clear. It feels like an eye function test. The problem is particularly bad once you've selected a person and the map is shaded- see enclosed map [the issue is worse on an iphone that it is below]
