Email notifications for bookings made via Outlook
Ability for Eptura Engage to trigger the standard email notifications to users, admins and vendors when a booking is created, updated or deleted using the Engage Microsoft 365 integration.
Our Product team is currently reviewing your idea. We may contact you if we need additional information or clarification. While not every idea will be added to our product roadmap, we carefully evaluate each submission and yours will receive full consideration.

I completely agree—this is a valid request and would bring significant benefits to users. We rely heavily on the booking confirmation emails to communicate important information associated with each resource. This includes accessibility details, fire protocols, office etiquette, and other critical guidance that the O365 Add-in currently doesn’t support displaying. Without these notifications, users may miss essential instructions that impact their experience and safety. Restoring or enabling this functionality would greatly enhance usability and ensure key information is consistently delivered.

Condeco should not have limitations (or regressions) for a new add-in. We have the functionality with the COM+ and we need it for the Smart Calendar

Users are currently not receiving any booking confirmation or cancellation notifications when making bookings through the O365 Addin. Although the room is successfully booked and visible on the Condeco portal, no email confirming or canceling the booking is being received.

We are experiencing the same issue in our org, where we have managed spaces by an admin and their distribution list has been added to the email template. Currently if someone books a meeting via condeco web to the managed space, the group approver will receive the email template, however if the user books the managed space in outlook (smart calendar) , the email template does not get triggered. Would like to have the same experience for both outlook web and outlook.

For booking requests through Condeco, our reception always receives a notification as it is cc'd in the email templates. There are no templates for booking requests via Outlook, which is why our reception does not receive any notification of the booking requests.
We ask you to introduce a function with which the admins will also automatically receive a notification for bookings via Outlook.
Thank you for the opportunity to share our suggestions for improvement with you. We hope that the function will be implemented soon.
