  1. When selecting an Organizer or Department, it would be helpful to have a pre-determined filter or the ability to set a filter so as to know list/display inactive values like employees or departments.

  2. Add ability to print Move Labels from a group move - similar to the QR / pre-formatted labels from rooms and equipment.

Idea is to be able to print out labels w/ employee name, from and to locations formatted for stickers that can be attached to boxes; maybe include an option for how many labels to print for each person in the move

  3. Many teams may allow for the majority of assigned employees to be free-address or not assigned to a particular rm/seat, but in some cases team members may have requirements to be assigned a specific seat as part of the team, and being included in the team space allocation for supply/demand planning. Examples include Executive Admins, those who need specialized stationary equipment at their workspace, VIPs, floor wardens/EHS personnel, etc. Or, an organization may want to allow for giving employees the option if they want to have a an assigned seat or not but still be part of their team, including…

  4. When reporting a problem, we struggle with assigning work requests to our locations that are structures (ie water towers, elevated tanks). It would be ideal to be able to submit a work request at the property level, as much of our service work is completed outside of our buildings at our structures.

  5. There is already a requested enhancement to allow capacity limits by floor rather than building. The added ability to set social distance circles based on a room category/type should also be considered. For example a hard walled office with a capacity of 1 might be smaller in width than the "6 foot" distance. If this occurs, the office and its adjacent office would have red circles. See attached clip.

  6. We use the Building Operations Console throughout our facility on majority of repairs and requests. Is there a way that after a year from the original request, the requestor would receive a notification to either resubmit this request or cancel this request. This would allow for some of these older requests to be put back on the top of the WRs list and potentially not get lost in the system, and also allow the requestor to determine that maybe this request was not truly needed, especially after a year has passed.

  7. Avoid desk booking (hoteling) and room booking (reserves) when the limit number of employees that can be on-site at any given time reach the maximum planned capacity.

  8. Hoteling application should have a completed kiosk feature. In the terminal, the users should view office placements for themselves and others, and check out of the workspace. In this way, employee checks out early, the hoteling application could alert facility and service staff that the space can be made available for someone else
Additionaly, the hoteling software should allow employees to go online to find available workspace based on proximity to certain areas.
Optionally, when there are more requests than available desks, hoteling application also should manage wait lists and handle walk-in requests, making it painless for companies to juggle…

  9. There are a number of places where it would be nice to know who has set up what and this is one area lacking in Archibus.

A big area for us, which can cause issues and can need correcting, are PM scheduling. as we have no idea who has set up a schedule we have no accountability when things are done incorrectly.

Surely it can't be that difficult to log the user who created the schedule against the PMS record.

This principle can easily apply to several areas across Archibus. Where things are done, created, amended but we have no…

  10. In our business we can very often have multiple Craftperson or multiple visits by the same Craftperson on a single work request. In the Craftperson section of the work request these are listed alphabetically by the Craftperson id.

It would make much more sense and make the 'narrative, of the work carried out much easier if the entries could be sorted by the date/time when the work was carried out.

  11. Is it possible to bring back the horizontal scroll bar in the asset transaction history?
The scroll bar is available in version 25.1.
I've attached the screenshots for reference.

  12. There is a GDPR access that normally is in the regular ARCHIBUS but it seems the AFM-CLI user that would be the client’s administrator would not have access to
System/System/Archibus Administrator - User and Security/GDPR - Search Personal Information

This view would grant access to what is rightfully the client’s data. Would there be intent to release that view to the Archibus cloud client administrator’s role?

For the purposes of client staff leaving, it makes sense that the client themselves manages this data that is deemed as personal identifiable information instead of the business partner.

  13. With the following settings:
    afmscmpref.basemetricunits = 0 (i.e. millimeters)
    afm
    scmpref.units = 2 (i.e. per locale)
SmartClient locale = any locale using the metric system

When I open an unregistered drawing in AutoCAD + SmartClient extensions, the Register Drawing popup appears with Metric - cm preselected.

I expect the default to be Metric - mm. Allowing this default to be changed based on afm_scmpref we can avoid mistakes for clients where all drawings are in mm.

Note when I switch the radiobutton to Imperial and then back to Metric, the 25.2 SmartClient UI does select mm automatically…

  14. There should be an option added in 'Manage work order generation rules' which can allow users to auto-generate work requests for next week (e.g - Sunday to Saturday) and does not include days from the same week .

For an example to auto-generate work requests on every Wednesday for the upcoming week Sunday – Saturday . (and Not for Thursday & Friday of that same week).

This can be helpful because workers sometimes does not get time to prepare for work requests .

  15. As described on the Microsoft Support website -- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2673231/how-to-control-the-room-finder-in-outlook, an update of the Microsoft Exchange Add-in added an option to completely disable the default Room Finder by adding the following registry entry. This change keeps the default room finder hidden also on the Scheduling Assistant view.

    Outlook 2010 Location: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Preferences
    Outlook 2013 Location: HKCU \Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences
    Outlook 2016 Location: HKCU \Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences

    Name - Type - Value
    RoomFinderForceDisabled - REG_DWORD - 1

I suggest adding this to the Outlook Plugin MSI installer.

  16. When setting a date, start and end time in the reservations console filter, and you select a room arrangement, a vlokc should appear in the scheduler/week/month view for the selected paramenters. When they are adjusted and the filter is applied, the block should adpat as well.

in case the user drags a different time frame for the meeting, the from to time in the filter should adapt as well.

This feature was present in 24.1 and was very usefull and widely used.

This item will also be a workaround for a bug that does not allow you to correctly adjust…

  18. At the inspection, by selecting a room, the work requests of the equipment in that room are searched, and when the all work requests in the rooms are completed, the color of the room changes according on floor plan. Most of the case, inspection work requests should be done room by room so it is easier for workers to check which room has been done.

  19. The compliance questionnaire question builder has a good look up option except there is no restriction in place so if the user should be selecting only a subset, say 10 particular answers, but they get to access a whole table, they can be accessing 30000 records when they don't need it.

It would be nice to either
    1. define an advance search for the look up, could be tough since all tables have their own fields
    2. apply a SQL restriction

Some examples where there would be too long of a look up:
    1. Trying to find a room but…

  20. It would be better to have a framework that supports easy global field renaming. Multi-line headers used to be the quicker way to modify the field names but even then it was not a global effect due to potentially hard coded titles within the axvws.

It should noted that even if you change the multi line headings that the workplace portal is hard-coded to use a separate language and file system to reference the field names. Also the newer html5 like views tend to ignore the multi line headings.

One example of needed configurable field name is rooms. Many see…
