Even though these documents can be maintained outside the tool, it would be prudent to not have to rely on external recordkeeping. Since floor plans do not frequently change, the storage requirements for an in-app versioning history should require minimal storage and provide value in avoiding the need for a complete rewrite of a floor plan. The ability to stage an upcoming floor plan change would also be a great addition as it would provide admins with the time to prepare a production-ready solution prior to implementation without affecting the day-to-day operation.
