  1. Make it possible for admins to add a banner on the Workplace pages to inform users e.g. of an upcoming maintenance or new features.

    It should also be possible to add a link in the banner, directing users to a page with more info (e.g instructions for using a new feature).

  2. In both mobile and desktop application, Once a checklist has been completed the ability to generate this checklist into a PDF and sent (email) it to a recipients (who may be not archibus users).

    Scenario we are providing a service on an asset or location and the Work request has a Checklist involved. Once completed we need to supply documented evidence of the works completed and a copy of the service checks.   3. The selection of available field so enable users to add additional existing fields to the select fields. This list is currently limited and should be customisable to expand the list of field available.
    If a custom user defined field has been added, it should be made available in this menu. The solution should be applied to all areas to give greater access to other data in the table

  4. Search function of Workplace allows to find and visualise on plan ANY room/building/floor that has been defined in WebCentral, and there is no way to control the visibility.

    Our organisation has highly sensitive functions, so for reasons of security, we do not want Workplace users to have access to plans of certain floors.
    In addition, we have defined all areas of buildings as "rooms", so the room search also returns toilets, elevators and technical areas.

    We had to commission custom development to prevent the users from seeing anything but the locations of colleagues who booked workspaces. Please develop a functionality…

  5. Currently the date format in the Reservations list is always the American format MM/DD/YYY, regardless of the user's language setting. It is very confusing for European users who are used to DD/MM/YYYY format.

    We have English (Ireland) and French (Belgium) as language options.

    The date format should change everywhere in the user interface according to the user's language setting.

  6. When you click on the space you want to sit and realize you have not put the correct day or time you cannot go back. You have to cancel and start over. This is in the SaaS version

  7. In Workplace, the number of seats indicated in the bubble next to the floor is the total number of available and hotelable rooms (no target apply)... it would be nice to rather see the number of rm available according to the target set for that building.

  8. It would be good for the workplace portal to display a photo of the desk being booked.
    Though most client won't have the luxury of time to upload a photo of each desk, it would nice to have a bulk photo reference where one can upload a photo of a desk and it could mean it's the photo of all desks in the building, or desks that match a type or a floor.

  9. Allow Space Managers and Asset Managers, to setup their own solid or border highlights for both equipment and rooms from within Web Central without having to code - Ex. Highlight equipment by equipment standard with Fire-Rated equipment highlighted in red.

    Also, possibly combining multiple fields into a label.

  10. Currently Workplace does not support display/choice of different room arrangements in reservations. Need the ability to choose and view images from the different room arrangements available for a specific room in Workplace.

  11. We are looking into a way to calculate the occupancy for assigned seating. We have situation where we have to assign wks to an employee permanently but it doesn't mean that this employee will show up every day in the office. But, it will affect our target capacity. We are looking into a way to ensure that specific wks are not available to everyone for booking as they are assigned to someone but also want to track to real occupancy for these wks.

  12. In situations where a user does a partial name search in WP, there is no next button to move to the next screen if the characters are more than 20. Not all results are returned and there is no "more..." button that can be clicked to return the rest of the results.

  13. Currently Smart Client does not support TLS 1.3 encryption protocol, however our clients are starting to ask for this. Furthermore, since TLS 1.0 and 1.1 have known vulnerabilities at this time, it is only a matter of time before a vulnerability in TLS 1.2 is found. If a TLS 1.2 vulnerability is found, it will be very bad for our clients as IT departments may begin blocking TLS 1.2 connections, which will render Smart Client unusable.

  14. Remember Client/Server's "Delete Table" button that allowed you to delete all records in a table that matched the current restriction? It would be very useful to have some way to bulk delete records in current Archibus environments. This will need to be very limited to admins only, but the need is there, especially in hosted environments where administrators may not have full access to backend tools.

  15. The current view to add amenities to a Hoteling room is awkward ("Define Fixed Resources"). The biggest problem is that one needs to know all the room numbers of Hotelable Rooms rather than being able to pick them from a floor plan. Also, each Room's amenities must be added individually rather than allowing multiple selections. And the "Room Arrangements" tab is confusing since it is not relevant to Hoteling.

    A new graphical view (or adaptation in the Space Console) should highlight Hotelable Rooms, allow multi-selection of rooms and add one or more amenities in a batch. This would speed up…

  16. When using Hoteling now, the default selection is the first (in order) floor of the building you are assigned to.

    It would make more sense to have the selection default to the floor you are assigned to (if no floor is assigned to the employee current behavior is correct)

  18. Let users know on floor plan/during selection process, that it is subject to approval. Also when they reserve the room the message should read that the request is pending approval and the status pending approval should be displayed in the Workplace Reservations tab.

  19. Create a Process to notify employees that a desk they have booked is no longer available.

    Reasons for the unavailability:
    1. desk changed from Hotelable to permanent seating
    2. layout change
    3. renumbering
    5. required cleaning or other work order in process

  20. In BOC, when a ticket is rejected, a requester has the ability to update/cancel. Where a client requests directly through workplace (having no access to maintenance console), there is no update/cancel option in the view service requests view. The request is no longer visible to maintenance staff and sits in the pending status.
