  3. Currently hotelling only allows for booking morning, afternoon or a full day. In the current return to work scenarios, we are seeing more requests for more granular bookings capability.

    The specific request is to support hourly bookings based on a start and end time.

    We have received comments such as: "It comes up in every demo"

  4. The equipment standard and bulk generation needs to be improved. The use case is if I'm going to make the effort to define an equipment standard where I've added in manufacturer information, CSI information, costs and model information, this should have copied over for the asset registry.

    So here's the use case. I have to create 10 extra equipment that came in a batch. The only thing different about these 10 items is the serial number and the unique asset ID. Meaning it's the same model number, same cost, same extra attributes, same warranty, same PO invoice.

  6. As a user lodging a service request, I start by scanning a room's QR code. By doing so, I'd love for the list of available request types to filter to just those that are applicable to that location.

    Request types can be associated with key words. Allow rooms or room standards to also be associated with key words? That way starting with QR codes to enter a request, the system can match up key words and display the relevant request types.

  7. As a user searching for the right equipment to attach to my work request, I'd like to be able to search quickly and easily for the equipment I'm looking for.

    Search lists, like equipment or department, are not limited by the WebC parameter "recordLimit", which limits the list to a reasonable size and institutes paging. It should.

    Also, for cases like equipment, it would be great to search by equipment standard and equipment name as well.

  8. It would be great if we had a security group or some way to grant certain users access to see and monitor all work requests. Currently, even if you are a member of all teams, if there is a supervisor assigned to the request that is not you, you cannot see those requests.

  9. Actually Hoteling.

    Use QR to verify arrival for hoteling!

    The process will be:

    1. Set the room capacity to, let's say, 12
    2. Have workers/students book the room till it's no longer available
    3. Place a QR label on the Office/ Classroom door
    4. Have the employee/student "check-in" when they come to work/class to verify occupancy...

    We can use the same functionality to verify arrival at a hoteled desk.

  10. With reservations, whether this is a meeting room booking or a desk booking the idea is companies now need to make staff check off for before and after use of a booking/reservation, ie. 'did you do this or that?' This questions seems to vary between clients it would be nice to somehow generate a questionnaire that the administers can setup and ask a question to the requester making a reservation or a desk. Some questions they may ask could be:
    - 'Did you disinfect the space?'
    - 'Do you acknowledge you obeyed this or that?'
    - 'Comment on new safety…

  11. We are seeing more RFPs with a requirement for a cloud/hosted solution with MFA. We can implement this if the customer wants SAML and rely on the customer's MFA capability, but otherwise we have a gap in our solution. It would be helpful if the standard Archibus solution either contained MFA capability out of the box or easily integrated with a service provider. I believe we are going to see this requirement a lot more in the near future for any cloud deployments.

As of v25.1, when a specific user has less than 10 applications assigned to them, the top-level (or starting point) of the navigator will be at the Application level, rather than the Domain level. There are no settings to control this behavior OOTB. Any sort of change to this behavior would be a customization to the navigator's design.

    Now in v25, what level the Navigator starts on is a variable that has to be considered when providing tech support, instructions, documentation, etc.

    I suggest this be made configurable with the default being that the top level is domains for everyone,…

  14. If you have a large dataset, any view with trees takes a long time to load. The Define Locations is a perfect example. There is no option to cancel the process once it has started, so you are stuck waiting for all of the data to load when you first enter the form. Update stock so these views do not load data when the form initially loads.

    1. The Work Request created from a Reservation should have all the details from the Reservation.
    2. The Problem Types for pre and post works should be configurable.
    3. There should be a more robust way to configure the SLA for this Problem Types, including a Work Team and not just a Trade.
    4. Rooms should remain blocked for reservations until the after cleaning work is complete (regardless of the post block previously configured).
    5. All this should be implemented also for Hoteling (i.e. Hoteling bookings should also have the option of generating pre and post cleaning works)

  16. Morning - parameter (start time and end time)
    Afternoon - parameter (start time and end time)
    This will allow or enable a gap between Morning and Afternoon for Cleaning, Sanitization, or refreshing or bookable rooms.

  17. Even if you have the "Enable Lookups" option turned on, any drawing view that uses legends still only shows the code and does not show description. In general, it would be helpful for all end users to see both the code and description in a drawing legend (regardless of the Enable Lookups option)

  18. A number of use cases have come up to consider for future phases of the Archibus-Serraview integration

    Phase 1A:

    Most important is to enable agile workplace management in Serraview, through the use of the VBS. Syncing back to Archibus at a minimum involves department allocation to rooms, room category assignments, and people located to floors (as the lowest common element).
