Thank you for the suggestion. I agree that this is an important feature for making it simple to get staff back to work.
We are in the process of designing this feature.

Have the ability to use SVLive to:
1) auto check-in at a desk you've booked via Engage app2) reserve the desk in Engage
3) release the desk reservation in Engage if you are not docked in at the desk unless you've booked the desk all day via Engage or for a specific time period

From a maintenance point of view, having a UI to manage this and specifying the status of the switch (e.g. switch scan success/failure) will be highly beneficial and allow end-users to manage.

This will enable user provisioning from a single system rather than doing this in multiple systems.

Specifically, the suggested changes to the following imports to improve self-service:
1) Person Import → Remove redundant fields, e.g. Opt out of Serraview Live
2) Team Import, Hood Import & Occupancy Import → these imports should be consolidated as one import. Currently, we may do 2-3 imports to get allocation & occupancy into the VBS.
2a) Create a team in the system if it doesn’t already exist
2b) If the hood column is included in the import, the hood should be created on the stack in the VBS
2c) If the person has a desk associated with it, block the person’s team to the workpoint
3) Workpoint Import → Strip out the data fields not required for Basics, e.g. Charge Rule, Show Availability in Locator
4) Importable Reports for the following imports which allow the end-user to mark up changes in the file for easier importing.
4a) Buildings
4b) Floors Import
4c) Person Import
4d) Team Import, Hood Import & Occupancy Import
4e) Workpoint Import (e.g. #141) -

I have a number of meetings in meeting rooms for the day, and the app provides a daily schedule of my meetings with notifications. The app gives us the following notification:
- meeting due in 15 mins
- meeting room has changed
- ask if you want to be shown where the room is and how to get to it from current location

Great idea! Very relevant for those in Victoria who are now allowed 25% of their workforce to return to the office from Nov 30.
This will make it easier for system admins to set a capacity number against the building or floor, rather than update the VBS to remove bookable desks.
In addition to this, if the capacity numbers change, this will impact future reservations in the system. We need a way to gracefully inform people who have a future booking to re-book their desk due to the change in capacity.
