  2. Several enhancements for a better user experience:

    Booking Selector and Calendar Improvements
    - Clearly show the "Now" button can be used to change the day and time you are making a reservation for
    - Configure if the calendar is Mon-Sun or Sun-Mon
    - Hide Weekends
    - Improve the calendar display for meeting spaces
    - Change days within a booking screen
    - Consistency between Mobile and Web versions of engage for filter icons, search icons, search and filter configurations and other icons
    - Display all calendar events syncronised with Microsoft Outlook
    - Improve the calendar display to more easily change months…

  3. Using various data sources automatically check a user in to a booking. Such as:
    - Badge data - When a user swipes into the floor
    - SVLive - When a user logs into a device on the floor
    - Geolocation - When a user is detected in proximity to the building
    - Sensor - When a user is detected at the booked desk

    With SVLive, use the automation based on where the person is detected:
    - Check in when user docks at a desk they have made a booking at
    - Notify user if they are sitting at a desk…

  4. Currently you need to navigate to a floor to search for a user. It would be good to have a search bar on the front page to start searching for someone quickly without loading a floor plan.

    This should include an icon to indicate if the user is currently detected (SVLive), Has a booking or not

  5. Management and staff may want alerts staff to an incident or disseminate an update. They can use Engage platform to push notifications to staff via the app.

    Examples should include:
    - Important Faciliites/Emergency information eg: "Lift under repairs today. Please use stairs" / "water leak on L08. please do not enter"
    - Evacuation in progress
    - When a selected colleague has made a booking, checked in or checked out
    - When a selected colleague is detected on site via SVLive

  6. Using configurable colours, provide a way to mark sections of the floor background colour to reflect different zones, neighbourhoods or areas. This should include showing the name of the selected area.

    This could be used to show:
    - quiet zones
    - Busy zones
    - Specific neighbourhoods

  7. As an Engage admin,
    I would like the restricted access in Buildings to cascade down to Serraview Engage,
    to ensure only certain groups of people can make reservations and bookings in buildings that require higher security clearance.

  9. When a self booking is cancelled by the user, or because they did not check in, the user should receive an in app and email notification.

    The action should remove the entry in My Bookings too or clearly marked as Cancelled.

    The cancellation message should be customisable by Admins, and made more distinct in the mobile and web apps on screen notifications.

  10. The error messages in Engage have no details as to why a booking cannot go through (examples). This causes users to believe the tool itself is not working.

    1. Daily Booking has reached its limit. Please try another day.
    2. Booking cannot be made outside of the Booking window.

  13. In busy sites, individuals are making desk bookings many weeks in advance, limiting availability for others planning closer to the day. Once check-in closes, a significant number of desks are released. It would be valuable to have a reminder 48 hours prior to the booking for people to confirm their planned use of the desk, or to release it for others. This would reduce the number of on-the-day cancellations, and enable other to book a desk ahead of attending site.

  14. When looking up first responders on a floor, instead of having to scroll through each responder to identify their location, it would be excellent if icons were loaded when enabling a responder type on the floor plan. This would save time trying to find who is the closest person to an incident and provides those who are responsible an easy visual to see potential areas where responder coverage is needed.

  15. Can Engage includes legend for markers? As the number of markers increases, it may confuse end users when viewing them on the Engage floorplan. If a legend exists, it will help mobile and kiosk users to identify the markers on the floorplan.

    Another suggestion is that, since all markers currently have the same rounded shape, the system should allow for marker color customization, or make certain key markers can be identified easier, such as making fire extinguishers red and restrooms blue, etc.

  16. The Engage People Tab should visually indicate if a user is active, away, checked in or just booked a desk. This will allow people to quickly check the people tab to determine if someone is active on site today or not.

    This will enhance the use of Engage beyond desk bookings when searching for active users in SVL2 and

  17. As a Slack user, I'd like to be able to find an employee by command, such as "\find Megan". This would bring up a floor plan locating where Megan is.

    Other use cases are:
    - employee contact info
    - book meeting rooms

  20. When opting in or out of Engage visibility, it would be useful to choose if users can:
    - Hide or display my live status (SVLive)
    - Allow people in my team/org unit to see my details but hidden from users in other teams
    - Hide or display my email and contact details, photo and role
    - Hide or display my booking history (current, past and future)
