  1. This would be similar to the Maintenance History section in work requests, which shows a history of all work requests placed for that piece of equipment. I would like to see this concept expanded to work requests that don't have equipment codes, where the maintenance history would show the work requests for the room code. This would help reduce the number of requests for the same scope of work.

  2. I would suggest having the possibility to add multiple parts for a single step in a procedure in order to have an estimation more accurate (or actually useful, because we can't even use the feature as it's limiting to single part) per step.
I would definitely explore the use of Bill of Material (BOM) that could be useful for specific to pmp or specific to pms (because sometimes the procedure is the same, but based on the equipment, as example, filter sizes can differ).

  3. Escalation Notifications - The current escalation process and notification process is a global yes /no. The problem is that this blanket approach sends too many emails to irrelevant people and for works that are no critical enough to Warrant this type of response.

    Solution

Part 1 - possibly move the escalation flag to the SLA this would allow discrete processing to happen or have an opt out button on the SLA to negate the global parameter.
Part 2 - Add flag in SLA to opt into sending escalation notification emails that then looks at
    1) add additional field to SLA…

  4. This would be really helpful to use the Planners since now it is almost impossible to identify the different elements in the view (without cliking on the elements)

When using PM Planner it is really difficult for the user to identify the equipments and equipment standards so it would be really helpful to identify the different elements in the PM Planner

  5. PM Scheduling. The ability to have and active and in active flag on a PM Schedule to suspend the generation of the PM. this is currently only able to be done by changing frequency interval to mismatch with the current frequency or modify the frequency to no fall into any possible generation period.

  6. When using the PM Planner, we are not abke to use the grid filters (which are available in ohter views) so it would be a nice addition that would help filtering and accessing the different data

  7. It would be helpful to filter for work requests that have a Checklist from within the Maintenance Console Filter.

In addition, the ability to see the checklist embedded in the Work Request Details view would be extremely helpful. Once a wr is completed and closed, using the Search and Manage would allow the ability to still review the checklist and results that pertain to that work request.
I understand the Maintenance Survey Report is available, but this is difficult to navigate and having it right with the wr is ideal.
To go one step further - once the checklist is…

  8. In the Building Operations Console, it would be nice if after a work request is selected or opened it becomes highlighted in the Building Operations Console so that it can be easily found one the detailed work request window is closed.

This is especially true for users that oversee a high volume of work requests.

  10. Move procedure type from PM to PMS to allow Location or Equipment PM to be the same PM instead of having to create two

    example

Replace air filters for this building
Replace Air Filters for theses Air Handling Units
    to be location or

Having Est Labour cost, Est Material Cost and est Labour effort will greatly improve estimation comparisons an resourcing costs

  11. Since 2022.01 the overview at a glance is missing in the building ops console. Pre 2022.01 one could quickly see the scheduled or estimated work orders and the 'next actions' were marked with an asteriks.
The new console has a lot of enhancements, but that status overview is missing.
From ARCHIBUS Support I got the info that a modification is in the pipeline to get the an overview of the status by hovering instead of having to select an actual work request.

Imho showing a few additional flags (asterisk, pending actions) would be very usefull in addition to that hovering…

  12. Work History viewed in the same format as the Building Ops console to make a consistent user experience for processing WR or reviewing history.

Effectively a read only version of the console

  13. Define equipment select available fields section on the filtering pane should be expanded to include additional fields. as a minimum include all of the descriptions for all of the current codes available. Many users rely on descriptions only.

  14. Our customer uses the GRID 3.0, which is used e.g. in ab-request-console.axvw. The customer can edit/select data in the GRID.

There are the following basic requirements, which should be changed from the customer's point of view in the core of the application (of the GRID 3.0):

    (1) The column width of the fields in the DataGridSelectionBox should be changeable by the user.

    (2) Key fields that are only required for the software functionality but do not contain any essential information for the user should not necessarily have to be displayed on the screen. Currently ID fields must be included in…

  15. Currently the PM Planner has a filter for PM Date Status option of 'Missed'. This includes PM's that have not been completed as well as those that were not generated, and requires looking at each individual PM to determine the reason for the flag.
Breaking the 'missed' status into 'Not Generated' and 'Not Completed' would be a more ideal reporting/planning feature for those clients wishing to differentiate.

  16. The Define location has a site point of contact field that is validated against the contact table (Define Contacts). there is no way of seeing additional contact details for that point of contact. there needs to be a pop up contact card that can be accessed. there is no "view contact" available for general users who do not have admin privileges in this area.

This concept is relevant to a few areas where contacts are used.

There is also a need for secondary/alternate contacts

  17. With this addition we would be able to look to add pre set checklist/inspections before a work request can be issued. The use case here is the need to provide work permits/ method statements often these need to be in place before the work can start. We would be able to create detailed questionnaire forms for these requirements. This will add to the flexibility of when these can be assigned and managed and force workflow.

  18. There are times when multiple Craftspersons are added to Multiple Work Requests in the Maintenance Console. Currently the Craftspeople need to be added individually. It would be nice if the Select Craftsperson could allow for multiple Craftspeople to be selected rather than one at a time.

This does not sound like much of a time savings for users; however, when there are more than a few Craftspeople to be assigned, the savings can be significant.

  19. In the corrective maintenence module, when a work request is created and the craftperson has to estimate the parts he will use, the system allows a supervisor to approve the parts estimation as long as the requests status is "assined to work order", if the request status changes to "Issued and in Process", then one cannot estimate parts, nor approve the estimation by a supervisor. The only action allowed is to add used parts by the craftperson. So, as a supervisor, it's hard to control and approve the material or parts needed according to their criteria. Now, what we think…

  20. If there is a change to a Preventative Maintenance Schedule, the only problem-free way to do this is to unassign the PM Procedure from the Equipment or Location, Reassign and setup a new schedule. When this is done the historical data on the old 'pms' record is lost although the WRs still exist in the system.

If the change to the schedule is made by changing the Date of First PM or updating the frequency/recurrence pattern, it leads to the PM WR not getting generated.

I would suggest a few changes to make the PM Planning a more error free…
