Add Certifications for Vendor Certification Management
Currently, Certifications for Employees is available; however, not for Vendors.
Enterprise customers may rely on external vendors to perform specialized or safety-sensitive maintenance activities. While certifications can currently be tracked for employees, there is no equivalent capability for vendors.
This creates a gap for customers that need to verify vendor qualifications before work is performed. Examples include confined-space certification, equipment-specific maintenance qualifications, and other safety-related credentials.
Proposed capability: Enable vendor records to support certification tracking comparable to employee records, including certification type, effective/expiration dates, and ideally notifications or reporting for certifications approaching expiration.
