New User Welcome Email for SSO
Summary
When a new user is added to Eptura Asset, they automatically get a welcome email. Right now there's only one version of this email, and it tells the user to create a password. Some organizations have Single Sign-On (SSO) set up, so their users sign in with their existing company credentials and never need an Eptura Asset password. For these users, the current email is misleading.
Current Experience
Every new user gets the same welcome email asking them to create a password, even if their organization uses SSO.
SSO users aren't sure whether they need to create a password, use their company login or do both.
This leads to frustration, failed login attempts and avoidable support requests to the client's internal teams and to Eptura.
Administrators can't change the wording of this email or turn off the password instructions.
Requested Enhancement
Create a second welcome email for organizations that have SSO set up. It would:
Welcome the new user to Eptura Asset
Give them the link to their organization's Eptura Asset login page
Tell them to sign in with their existing company credentials
Leave out any instructions to create or reset a password
Organizations without SSO would keep getting the current welcome email.
Business Value
Smoother onboarding: New users get clear, accurate instructions from day one.
Fewer support requests: Users stop asking about passwords they don't need.
Better first impression: The product looks like it fits how the client signs in.
Security confidence: Users aren't prompted to create passwords their organization has chosen not to use.
Nice to Have (Optional)
Let administrators customize the welcome email text, for example to add internal contacts, training links or company branding.
