Waiting List for desks
Customer would like that users have the possibility to be added to a waiting list for a desk within a zone and be notified if someone cancels.

We have an office that is very busy and often at full capacity, a waiting list feature such as suggested would be extremely useful to colleagues.

Could there be a waiting list system for when the office is full – this would include a list that people could add themselves to, and Condeco email them if desks becomes available

Hiscox has requested whether it would be possible to add list on which they can register for desk and if the desk is released they get assigned to it automatically.
Below the request from the customer: "For example, I’ve gone on 2 weeks early to book a desk for w/c 10th February. There aren’t any free on Wednesday 12th Feb and Thursday 13th Feb so I’ve booked one in a different section. I am sure however that one of my Re & ILS colleagues will cancel a desk on either of these days over the next 2 weeks so I would love to go on a wait list for section 10A. I am hoping that we could code a solution on the Condeco system that as soon as someone cancels their desk, my desk will automatically transfer to the correct area? "

"Can Condeco be configured to have a daily waiting list for desks? This would create a queue for those who need a desk when none are available. As soon as a desk is released, the first person in the queue would receive an email offering the desk. If they accept, they take the desk; if not, the offer goes to the next person in line. Each time a desk is taken, everyone in the queue moves up one spot."

Business is raising the idea of “waiting list”
In case I am not lucky when booking parking and desks for some future days, I could sing up to waiting list and Condeco could notify me (via email?) that some places are now released and I could try again or some place would be automatically assigned to me. -

Add waitlist feature for offices that are extremely busy and have limited space - users can get on a waitlist and if a reservation is released, the person of the waitlist gets notified

It will be good if people who not able to find a desk for given day can be added to a queue and then a notification can go out as soon as the desk is available to book.

It would be great if when an employee goes to reserve a desk, but there are none available for that day, they can add themselves to a waitlist to be notified if a cancellation happens or a space otherwise opens up.

At the moment if you aren’t successful in booking a desk for particular times in the future, you have to go back and check periodically to see whether people have released their desks, but it’s very time consuming and manual.
I wondered whether there could be some sort of ‘waiting list’ functionality set up whereby you can request a desk for your area for particular times and then as desks are released (due to cancellations) you receive a notification? Would save us from logging back on repeatedly etc.

Create a waiting list so that users can be notified when desks have been released and\or book the desk for the next user in line.
