  1. In current versions, when you configure a Service Desk SLA, you can only send the request to an Internal Service Provider and/or an External Service Provider. This means that the request can be assigned to as much as 2 different users. It would be very useful to be able to assign a Work Team as Service Provider (as for Maintenance SLAs).

  2. BIRT reporting is very important for many of our users. Withdrawing support for BIRT would create a serious problem for them, and would be perceived by clients as a breach of trust. Tech support reports that support will continue only if the BP community expresses interest.

    Other clients have also expressed interest in starting to use BIRT reports, and it is a tool that is useful for us to fulfill functional requirements (e.g., providing a presentable Lease Invoice, not the embarrassingly poor one that uses Archibus native reporting.)

  3. In order for lease chargeback agreements to work properly, it requires going into the Cost Wizard, finding the scheduled costs, and then changing their Cost Statuses to AUTO-CHARGEBACK. This is cumbersome since someone would need to search for the scheduled costs and change each of them from AUTO-RECURRING to AUTO-CHARGEBACK since they are monthly/quarterly/annually/etc recurring costs.

    A mechanism to flag the recurring costs to default to AUTO-CHARGEBACK would save time and the potential for error.

  4. The product currently has limited 3 approval captures per project. Archibus would offer a more competitive edge to be able to setup workflows and set as many approvals need in the tool throughout the life cycle of the project. Sort of like an SLA where it's configurable to match to features like a project type, or program type or location where it may need multiple approvals and certain conditions.   5. It should possible to « manage » the buttons individually. For instance some roles could see and update all requests, just the way supervisors can do, but cannot complete requests. Or it should be possible to allow some specific roles to be supervisor but not use the « complete » button.

    In previous versions, this could be done using classic buttons in AXVW files that could be enabled or hidden using security groups or roles.

    But in the maintenance console, this seems to be done on a global way, merely depending on few parameters (essentially the craftsperson's attributes, e.g. "is…

  6. Many other online tools have an html wysiwyg preview that enables the ability of generating a formatted email with a background, headers, images, and links. It would be great if Archibus can display what are the available dynamic links and dynamic values.

    For example it would be great to be able to format emails for the purposes of:
    - hoteling
    - reservations
    - work requests
    - return agile notifications / contact tracing
    - emergency/incident management

  7. Streamline the process of publishing a site or a campus CAD plan to be used as a navigation tool to select a building. For example, in workplace, when you clikc on the building icon you will have a site plan opened to select a building.

  9. As a Space Manager I would like to be able to generate statistics that include data from standard tables using the Analysis tool. Now the standard fields are shown in the Smart Client grid but are missing from the Analysis reports.
    Our clients export the data and use Excel to generate a statistics report. We do have some predefined custom reports but this Analysis tool would be a great added value if it included the standard tables. The clients should be able generate new statistics on the fly without our intervention or technical limitations.

  10. Some clients are unable to upload photos of employees for security concerns. It would be nice if the default 'image' could be the users initials (similar to what office 365 does) if a photo isnt uploaded.

Notification Templates in the Compliance Module have a set recipients for the template, this is a little awkward and it would be better if there was an option to set the template to send to the 'Person Responsible' or 'Vendor' or 'contact' or all 3 with a free text option also. The person/s that an email need to be sent to can often differs at different levels even within the same requirement. There is a major flaw in the current mobile maintenance app, their date and time a craftsperson is due to carry out work is not clear, it's no good just displaying the Date to perform the task if the cf is due to arrive a 2 pm there is no display of this information, at least not until they have got to the CF data and even then the scheduled time is not shown.   13. Updating OOTB Service Request Types in Service Catalog.

    We are looking to add the functionality of editing the Menu Title for Out-Of-The-Box service request types in the Service Catalog e.g. SERVICE DESK - INDIVIDUAL MOVE, SERVICE DESK - HOTELING.

    Currently, the Service Catalog is where all the request types in Workplace are created. It shows the Out-Of-The-Box request types and allows you to update the Menu Titles, but changes to the Menu Titles or descriptions are not reflected in the corresponding work request tiles in Workplace.

  14. For both Room Reservations and Hoteling.

    Use case: when a building is getting decommissioned, the client wishes to permit reservations up to the building's final day of operations and no later. In other words, If the building closes on July 1, a user logging in on June 29 should be able to reserve for June 30 but not July 2.

  15. Please consider ALL types of users / consumers when designing modules. We have been using the lease module for a number of years. Even today when I review the latest version it says Used By: Portfolio Managers, Lease Administrators.
    We have maintenance people, finance people, occupying departments, all looking at the data from the lease module. It is not clear from the help which views are designed for these READ-ONLY people.

  16. Make the confirmation email sent when booking a workspace more user friendly.

    1. For the Employee Is: User the users first and last name instead of employee id
    2. List the workspace number separate from the building ID number.
    3. Display the building name as well as the building ID number.

  17. When Scheduling a craftsperson to a work request, if you click on assign craftsperson and click on the ellipse for craftsperson code, not all records are shown, see the screen print attached. A suggestion is to make all the views the same as a defined employee for example where one can use the next button where it will display the universal amount on each page. Note: the universal limit setting in afm-config.xml for record limit works but makes the system very slow.

  18. It would be ideal to have an auditing tool, similar to the GDPR view, to see all the user transactions in the system: Workspace Bookings, Reservations and Work Requests (as a craft), etc.

    When a user is offboarded, you could search by their email address and all associated transactions would appear in the audit tool so that you could action them (cancel bookings, etc)

  19. Can Model Number and Manufacturer be added to the Surveys so this data can be entered when staff performs building surveys? See attached for the current fields that can be added. Those fields are missing.

  20. If a Project Template is applied > 1 time to a project, the work packages and actions are duplicated. Adjust the Project Template function so that it identifies existing work packages/actions and updates them instead of creating duplicates and adds new work packages/actions.
