Allow export to DOCX, PDF, XLS for Grid Controls 3.0
Grid Controls 3.0 have this limitation that prevents exporting their content in DOCX, PDF or XLS format which would be instead really helpful for users to have.

Workplace > Meeting Spaces > Better error messaging
Currently in V2022.03, if there is an issue with an email address of an added attendee when booking a meeting space the following error is shown.
Error: Could not create reservation. The room may have been already booked. Please cancel and search for another room
This request is to improve the error message to describe the issue with the email address, similar to the Reservation Calendar Console, which identifies that there is an issue with the email address when adding the attendee to the meeting.

Increase the number of records users can delete in smart client
Allow the ability to increase the number of records a user can delete in the Smart Client. Our limit in V24.1 is currently is set to 36 records.

Site Plans on Workplace
In Workplace there is the ability to find a person, room or equipment and pull up a floor plan. Would like to be able to upload site plans to view as well. Either CAD or JPG.
Similar functionality exists in places outsode of Workplace, such as in the Space Console Advanced Search when selecting a building.21 votes -
Bulk edit for assets on Webcentral's Asset Lifecycle consoles
When going into the asset lifecycle consoles, a user with the right security group should have the ability to perform bulk edits. It's not efficient to go and edit 1 asset at a time. Especially if a user was using the exceptions reporting and found 3000 assets were missing a value of some property from the exceptions filtering, it makes sense to bulk edit them.

Allow Craftsperson to add another craftsperson to work request
In Mobile a craftsperson can add another craftsperson to a work request. ideally this functionality is added to OnSite and perhaps controlled with a setting.

Define API Wizard
Currently, custom API definitions are defined via axvws and potentially java. It would be nice to have a API wizard kind of like how you can use the view definition or homepage definition views. It allows the user to visually see the fields/tables to make available to the API and then at the end generates the axvw file. It would be good to also store API definitions in the database so that users can go find their APIs.

Equipment changes should propagate to the PM schedule
When you setup the PM for a piece of equipment, it copies over some of the data (specifically location data) from the equipment record to the PM Schedule record which is displayed in the PM Planner.
If you change the equipment data (eg. location) after this has been setup, the changes do not automatically propagate to the PM Schedule record.If you wish to update the PM schedule you will either need to do so in a separate step or unassign the PM Procedure and reassign it to get the updated information propagated to the PM Schedule record. Default selected floor Hoteling (workplace)
When using Hoteling now, the default selection is the first (in order) floor of the building you are assigned to.
It would make more sense to have the selection default to the floor you are assigned to (if no floor is assigned to the employee current behavior is correct)

Auto-minimize of the navigation bar
Some of the users only have a homepage to access ARCHIBUS and thus have no real processes in the navigation (other than home/search/favorites) and no real need for a space-consuming navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
It should therefore be possible to open the Web Central with the navigator bar minimized by default ? Ideally this could be set a application parameter.

Mobile Compatibility for iOS 14
Allow users to scroll on the work request list without the app locking. Would greatly improve usability for anyone with a newer iPhone since right now they have to uninstall and reinstall the app to continue scrolling on wr list.

Users would have the ability to provide communication updates bidirectionally to and from Outlook to the Work Request and it would be tracked as a communication log.

Ability to add hyperlinks to Service Request Instructions
Many times the facilities team needs to provide a hyperlink to a document or another site on the Service Request Page. This allows the user to gather the required information before they submit the request.

Have a way to Disable/Deactivate Users
It would be nice for there to be a way to temporarily disable a user with a simple switch on the user record. This gets asked semi-frequently and while there are functional ways to accomplish this, they are clunky and not intuitive.
This should work with ARCHIBUS Authentication and all flavors of SSO. So with SSO, if the user is disabled in Archibus they would not be allowed access even if they authenticate with the directory/identity provider and even if automatic guest login option is enabled.

Workplace Timeout
Allow the timeout for workplace to be configurable. Currently it is set to 60 seconds and is a nuisance for users trying to book, search, and request.

Smart Client Read Only
Smart Client Read Only - Easy role/security to allow power users to have Smart Client and AutoCAD Overlay in a 'read only' role. This would allow ad-hoc queries for users that have learned the data structure but are not editors. We would also like planners to be able to do afm highlights and query highlights in AutoCAD, but not able to edit data.

More information about the Equipment should be available when scanning QR code from Onsite App
We should be able to at least see the equipment information when scanning the QR Code.
We are expecting that as much information is visible in the Workplace App on scanning the QR Code for any equipment, at least the same information should also be displayed on the Onsite App

Add a "notes" field to the Room and Arrangement records
Add a "notes" field to the Room and Arrangement records to document the policies/rationale for the room's/arrangement's creation, modification, etc.
We have a large number of reservable space in multiple large office buildings and managing and documenting why a room or arrangement is created/modified is a real issue. Having a "notes" text field would help our facility managers keep track of the specifics.

REVIT and work planed based assets
Upon 2D publishing in REVIT, some assets are not correctly published or better said are not correctly included in the JSON files and from there are not « clickable » ( = selectable) in the SVG drawings, e.g. in the Web Central consoles that use 2D SVG/HTML viewing.
This seems to happen for assets (e.g. equipment) that belong to « work plane based » families, such as solar panels placed on a slanted roof and defined as such in the properties/constraints.
This kind of family needs to be compatible too in order to be used for modern buildings.

Configuration options for generating an ICS/calendar file when making a desk booking
When using the hoteling features, it would be great to have an ICS file generated for the calendars so that employees at a company can tell where they need to be by going into the one place they all tend to use which is the exchange calendars. They can be set as the availability of 'Free'/'Working Elsewhere' so it doesn't prevent others from trying to book colleagues to a meeting as well.
This would be great if it is a configuration option in hoteling.
