Allow license to be split unevenly during clustering task
The task that splits a license file for use on a cluster always splits it evenly between servers in the cluster. So this is not an ideal tool if you need to split your licenses unevenly, for instance if external contractors use a different authentication method to sign into Web Central than internal staff do (https://www.archibus.net/ai/abizfiles/v24.1_help/archibus_help/system/sysman.htm#security_usage/mixed.htm)
If you have 20 contractors, and 200 internal staff members, you probably don't want a 50/50 split of licenses between these two servers, but this is the only built-in license split that is available.

The User Menu could be a bit more personalized by displaying the employee name vs. user name.

Prevent users from assigning licenses not present in the license file
In v25.2, we can still assign processes and mobile application security groups to users even if those applications are not licensed. The system would be more user friendly if it did not allow this.

Allow to design multiple print template, and select a template, from a drop-down menu, before printing
Currently, we can design as many print template as needed, however, users must choose and hard-code one print template per export feature (one template for PDF one for Doc)
I suggest allowing users to select the desired template from a dropdown menu. This will allow users to design print layouts by paper size, recipient, or purpose and, when needed, just select the preferred template from a print menu.

Allow drag-n-drop life-safety assets icons directly to floor plan from menu
Some life-safety assets should appear on the Workplace floor plan as a wayfinding feature (Exit, Defibrillators, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid).
To do this, we should develop a functionality, similar to the RED-LINE feature, that will enable users to:
1. Associate icons with assets
2. Drag and drop icons directly to a floor plan
3. Display icons on Workplace floorplans17 votes -
Allow selecting the sort in a selectValue command
Please add an option or options to the selectValue command to pick the sort field and direction. There are many instances where sorting on a column other than the select column is desirable. There are also many instances where it would be preferable to sort descending instead of ascending on the default column. This is currently not possible with the standard <command type="selectValue" />.

Allow setting max and min values for HTML Chart axis
When creating an HTML chart, the max and min values of the numeric axis are automatically calculated. For many charts, these values don't make sense for the data displayed.
For example, a column chart that is showing percentages, but starts at 0.4 and goes to 0.7 does not show an accurate scale for the values being presented.
It would be helpful to have a chart option that allows setting the maximum and minimum value for the particular axis.

Configurable table that can hold all extra fields without customization
Can there be some sort of table structure that store records of extra field definitions without needing to add a new field via customization? Then the reports can also look for these extra fields? That way administrators can quickly create new fields for a table.

Support for Internet Explorer/Teams URL
The support for Internet Explorer was removed for some later point releases of V24.* and then in V25.1. There's some good cases why it should be brought back.
With everyone now staying at home working for the most part and most organizations have also switched to Microsoft Teams. Teams gives people a chance to create a channel and add a tab for example the URL/website tab. Here it becomes an easy transition for change management to just put in the ARCHIBUS/workplace for example as the URL. It appears Teams is using Internet Explorer for displaying a URL within teams. In…

Archibus REST APIs - broadcast on internally updated data
Event driven mechanism to be able to broadcast an internal change to the external world trough Rest APIs.
Use Case : a client app creates a service-desk request, and he wants to be informed when a status (a data) has been changed on this request (push mode)8 votes -
UX - Switch the User Profile button and the Home page buttons around 25+
From a user interface perspective, the user profile button / sign out button is always the top right button on a website. For whatever reason, it is backwards in ARCHIBUS, often leading to the wrong menu getting picked. Take a look at google, or microsoft office as an example it is always the top right.

Define Compliance Questionnaire - restrict the look up question
The compliance questionnaire question builder has a good look up option except there is no restriction in place so if the user should be selecting only a subset, say 10 particular answers, but they get to access a whole table, they can be accessing 30000 records when they don't need it.
It would be nice to either
1. define an advance search for the look up, could be tough since all tables have their own fields
2. apply a SQL restrictionSome examples where there would be too long of a look up:
1. Trying to find a room but…4 votes -
Configurable field naming for fields (since Multi-line headers don't seem to work globally)
It would be better to have a framework that supports easy global field renaming. Multi-line headers used to be the quicker way to modify the field names but even then it was not a global effect due to potentially hard coded titles within the axvws.
It should noted that even if you change the multi line headings that the workplace portal is hard-coded to use a separate language and file system to reference the field names. Also the newer html5 like views tend to ignore the multi line headings.
One example of needed configurable field name is rooms. Many see…

Archibus-Serraview Integration: Future Phases
A number of use cases have come up to consider for future phases of the Archibus-Serraview integration
Phase 1A:
Most important is to enable agile workplace management in Serraview, through the use of the VBS. Syncing back to Archibus at a minimum involves department allocation to rooms, room category assignments, and people located to floors (as the lowest common element).
Future Phases:
Notes are captured here: https://serraview.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FUS/pages/816873665/Fusion+-+For+Future+Consideration
