  1. A client has mentioned they need staff to know where the fire wardens sit, these people are often volunteers so they are not tied to a specific organizational unit. They have a title but it may not be fire warden, it may be the administrative assistant with the User defined field that states they are a fire warden.

    The workflow is something like this. The fire warden is notified ahead of time that there are staff wanting to book desks in the office space. So they go and also book a hoteling desk. The staff will also need ways to…

  2. When reporting a problem, we struggle with assigning work requests to our locations that are structures (ie water towers, elevated tanks). It would be ideal to be able to submit a work request at the property level, as much of our service work is completed outside of our buildings at our structures.

  3. When Assigning Assets to Custodians, it is possible to assign the assets to a custodian team, instead of an employee.

    For example: our IT assets belong to / are managed by our IT department, where our HVAC / Electrical assets belong to / are managed by our Operations team.

    Is it possible to leverage the Team Member tab and be able to associate IT assets to the IT Team? By assigning "Bob Smith" to the IT Team, he would be a custodian on that asset in the EAM console?

  4. In a view named "Occupancy Plan", a user displays in the drawing of a selected floor, the list of Employees and their Section Codes on each Room. The information are displayed as Employee 1, Employee 2, Section Code 1, Section Code 2. User prefers to have the information grouped together as Employee 1, Section Code 1, Employee 2, Section Code 2, is there a way?

  5. Provide a way for sysadmins to easily test the SMTP configuration without entering dummy data into the system (but still record this in the notifications log table).

    For example via a form with just a single button, that sends an email from the notificationSender to the administrator address, as defined in mail.properties. Optionally allow editing subject and body.

  6. When a status changes in a work request, the comments field is displayed for the craft to submit an update for the requestor.

    It would be ideal that when a craft wants to add another comment to send a notification to the requestor they do not want to prompt a change in status.

  7. If the end day does not fit exactly on the day of the meeting, then the reservation will not be created.

    Web central is OK, sets the correct end date. But MS Outlook sets the specified date and it probably makes Archibus problems.

    A message is written in the log that the end date does not correspond to the required one.

  8. For questionnaires under compliance or even the new maintenance checklist in v25.3, some clients want to add a reference link so that when an employee is doing a checklist and it requires them to follow a set of instructions then the employee can say watch a video, open up pictures on instructions on how to do the checklist item.

    One example are hospital equipment which have some complexities. So an example question could be replacing a battery. The technician can refer to a quick video or reference pictures to confirm the work is done. It would make sense if the…

  9. A lot of times when using Data transfer, thats done to allow others to fill out details and provide back for uploading (move lists, for example)

    It would be nice to display the ml_heading in teh column headers for read-a-bility and the field names in a hidden column that gets used for archibus to read-in (kind of like the windows client used to work....)

  10. Lets says that MinutesNotifyForConfirmation is configured for 1 day. Let's also say that someone creates a booking for the next day. Since the time of notification (MorningStartTime) has passed, no confirmation required notification is sent. It would be nice if a notification was sent out in this scenario.

Right now the only way that a "Guest" that has Arhibus access to be able to submit in a follow up inquiry is by our office creating an independent email account that they can submit in a question to - such as status of my work request. Our guests have to go through a secure sign on in order to be able to access the Archibus work request platform.
    With the integration of Microsoft Teams in our Hospital, would there be a functionality to create an instant chat function for our service desk to respond to instant message requests?

  13. Include the possibility to manage the properties of AXVW fields (readonly, hidden, etc) within the Edit Data functionality in Autocad.

  15. Either a calendar to select which days a room is reservable/not reservable or the ability to specify which days of the week a room is reservable.

    For example, I have a client that does not want rooms reservable on weekends.

    Being able to set it on a per room basis in "Reservations -> Background Data -> Define Room Arrangements" would be ideal.

  16. If the end user performs a Smart Search and selects a building then goes to Advanced Search and performs a different search the Smart Search shows the original search and is not updated with the Advanced Search parameters. This is extremely confusing to the end user especially if they do a building name search in the Smart Search and then go to Advanced Search and do a different building search.

  17. V25.2 SmartSearch floor list does not have a scroll bar. It is not obvious to the end user how to find the building and floor they want if they have access to a large number of buildings that meet the search criteria (for example room category). You can hover at the bottom of the list and SOMETIMES this will scroll (not always) but it is not intuitive.

  18. We had to get our business partner to make significant changes to the job sheet that is printed for work requests.

    Can this not be made more configurable so admins can do this from within Archibus web central, to allow customisation of which fields are displayed on the job sheet.

    I know most users are going mobile but there will be some occasions where a printed job sheet will be required etc.

  20. The idea is avoid QR on desks and, at the same time, deliver a seamless check-in experience.

    When the employees book a desk they receive a "digital key". These keys can let employees check-in using a kiosk or QR reader. At the same time, the "digital key" can be revoked if needed by the workplace manager.
