  1. When working within the Workplace the building list searches for Building Name or Building Code. We have users that only know a building by its address. Can the list of fields searched include the building address?

  2. Right now if the Book meeting space function is turned on the option to use it is available for all buildings on the Workplace dashboard even if they have no meeting rooms defined and marked as reservable. Is it possible to get the system to only display this function on the workplace dashboard if the building selected has defines meeting room spaces. If not the the Book meeting rooms option would not be available on the workplace dashboard.
    This should also apply to Booking workspaces.

  3. In the map view when booking a space I always need to check the grays squares manuall who is sitting where. I would like to see the names always inside or close to the booked spaced. last name + first letter first name should be enough.

  4. Security becomes more and more important for all companies with an online presence. They require their software to work with tight security restrictions.

    An important security restriction to block Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) is the implementation of a Content Security Policy (CSP) header. This header can block inline JavaScript and JavaScript eval as an effective and visible defense against XSS.

  5. When different families share the same type name, published equipment may be incorrectly replaced in the SVG.
    To prevent this, we’d like to request changing the symbol id format from “Category + Type Name” to “Family Name + Type Name” or “Category + Family Name + Type Name”.

  6. Long usernames cause the taskid field in afmptasks to overflow, preventing favorites registration.

  7. When I try to book and receive the message that the floor is fully booked I would like the option to request a notification to advise me if a space becomes available on the date and in the space that I was requesting (example: If someone cancels their reservation).

  9. For many clients, there are critical needs and often government compliance requirements for user accounts. Clients are required to suspend access if a user has not logged in for a certain period (such as 90 days), and sometimes to delete a user if they have not logged in for a certain period (such as 180 days).

    I am aware of the GDPR functionality. While that is useful for account deletion, the Archibus system lacks the necessary information to make any determinations on when to set the deletion date. If using SSO, we may or may not be able to get…

  10. In WebCentral's Workspace Booking, please add a recurrence pattern of "Bi-Weekly", for reservations occurring very two weeks. Thus, we would select from the following recurrence patterns:

    None
    Daily
    Weekly
    Bi-Weekly
    Monthly

    This would benefit Archibus Clients, such as those in Federal Government, whose pay periods are bi-weekly (26 pay periods a year) and their hoteling requests align with the first or second week of a pay period.

  11. Clients would like to see some non-asset text in Space Console for Exporting to PDFs. However, they do not want to see all notes, references and other non-asset text. Assigning all text to one layer limits the purpose of exporting the space console drawing to PDFs.

    Allowing for text to remain on their CAD-assigned layer will allow customers to cut down on the number of drawing files to maintain and help in promoting Exporting to PDF

  12. I frequently find that I need to remake PM Procedures including manually reassigned equipment/locations and defining PM Schedules whenever there are major changes to the SLA work teams and similar.

    I would like to see an option to search for equipment/locations by selecting/entering an existing PM procedure (under the filter options) in the assign procedure to equipment or location view.

When a user accesses the Workplace landing page and does not have a default building assigned to them, they get the full list of buildings in the system regardless of if they have bookable workspaces or are even active buildings.   14. I would like to enable the BIM Viewer to highlight rooms that span across different floors.

    Currently, the BIM Viewer is designed to highlight only rooms on the same floor. However, we have received user requests to support highlighting rooms located on different floors as well.

    This feature would be particularly useful for cross-sectional comparison and visualization of rooms that belong to the same category or type, thereby enhancing usability.

  15. Currently you can apply a security group to a service request type to restrict it in the Web Central "Create Service Request" view. This restriction should be carried over to workplace.

    With the questionnaire functionality added to workplace, clients would like to use the new interface for all requests, but for some requests like badge and key they should not be open to anyone to request.

  16. Users have reported confusion about the messages "You're all done" or "Work Completed" that appear when you first get into the OnSite app.
    What's happening is that when opening OnSite for the first time or after a while, the list of WRs for the user is empty.
    The app displays the message "You're all done" while in fact it is synchronising the data.
    After a few seconds (~3s) the list of WRs appears.

    We are experiencing an issue when attempting to open checklists after downloading offline data in the OnSite application. Although the offline data appears to download successfully, the system shows a delay or fails to read the data properly when we try to open the checklist.

    From our observation, it seems like the app is not fetching the newly downloaded data and instead continues trying to retrieve older or cached data. This results in slower performance or failure to load checklists as expected.

    The ability to unassign and reassign a craftsperson when Work Requests (WR) are in ‘Issued and in Process’ status.

    Context
    For efficiency, the organisation uses the bulk functions to move work requests from ‘Assign to work order’ to ‘Issued in process’. It is very effective in the PM space, where selective craftspersons do preventive maintenance checks/work. However, once it is assigned no means to manage assignments in bulk.

    Use cases:

  19. Hi team.

    With the HotelBookingRestrictions parameter, employees can be restricted to a specific building, floor, division, department, team, or a combination of these elements. Valid values are a comma-separated list of the following elements: 'bl', 'fl', 'dv', 'dp', 'team'.

    It would be very useful to add 'bu' (business units) to the parameter restrictions, as it is highly beneficial for allocating expenses by business unit. Currently, clients within a BU have multiple divisions ('dv') or departments ('dp'), which prevents them from using those options. Additionally, a BU may have spaces in more than one building.

  20. In either Workplace or Review Bookings (ab-ht-booking-review.axvw), allow the one making the cancellation to enter a reason for why the booking is being cancelled.

    It could be either from an administrator, from a team lead, booking requestor, or the one being booked for.

    Reasons can vary from any number of reasons. Examples could be, "the room is no longer needed", "the floor will be undergoing renovations at that time", "the space is required for a special event", "the room was booked in error", "staff member X booked a desk for me, but I want to use a different desk".
