Having the parts that are associated with the asset available for work technicians to reference saves a lot of wrench time. This is very important.

Our mechanics need to have access to the inventory data/locations specifically so that they can go to the part that they need instead of searching by each shelf unit, or searching for someone at a computer to look it up for them.

As someone that does this every day, I would appreciate not having to have two screens open. One for the inventory database, and one for the purchasing database when I process my packing slips. I have to search each individual inventory item as it's received to print the barcode label. This could be more efficient.

This would save time in establishing linkages to manuals. Maybe associating manuals with an Asset Type as well as the Asset itself. Options are always appreciated.

It would be very nice to be able to inquire to a vendor what the current pricing is for various parts.
