  1. Archibus should allow the creation of status in the configuration and a way to map process (approve, estimate, plan) to status. We found out that the number of status is limited if you want to track specific questions such as:
    - differentiate between request that are waiting for planning that the one being planned
    - differentiate between request waiting to be processed by a craft and a request being processed, a request processed but not verified by the supervisor

    Also we have custom needs for billing and there is no way to create a status for this.

  2. When selecting a year for generating e.g. the problem type report, it is apparently possible to only select a year for the "Calendar Year" option.

    Apparently, there is no way to select a year for the "Fiscal Year" option, because the Pulldown is right next to the Calendar Year option.

    However, the pulldown refers to both and should be arranged differently.

  3. Currently the system links PM work to SLA's via the PM Procedure meaning every time a PM procedure is added the user needs to create or add the new PM procedure to an SLA. by adding the criticality field as a check value the PM can be link directly as a catch all for this criticality i.e. Statutory and Non Statutory as a minimum. The system can still use a single PMP or also link to the location and equipment data. Grouping code may also be a useful link option to PM schedule for SLA's.

  4. Can the 'Scheduled Substitutes' task be expanded to enable the ability to schedule a substitution for the Requestor, in the same way we use the tools to substitute Craftspersons?

    That way when 'Requestor A' goes on vacation, we can assign 'Requestor B' as a substitute, so that Requestor B would see all work requests that Requestor A submitted.

  5. Building Ops - Maintenance Console - Work Request - Documents and Activity - Additional Document and Activity.

    When a WR is at requested stage there is a list of users that are able to take action on the request (approve and estimate). Once the WR is issued the users that did not take action should be either hidden from the view or removed from the activity log. Can we please investigate a possible solution to create an application parameter to make specific fields mandatory on the report a problem task, for example, Problem type 1st tier and 2nd tier and Building Code – example of a parameter is hiding equipment on report a problem – ShowEquipmentOnReportProblem.

  8. The ability to design Questionnaires for service request types and then display those questions within Workplace has proven to be valuable for customers. Using this same approach, allow customers to create Questionnaires for anything in the Service Catalog (including Work Requests) and then be able to see the answers for those questions within the Maintenance Console.

    The ability to create questionnaires for Service Catalog items already exists -- you only now need to make an update to the Maintenance Console to display the results for work requests.

  9. Building Operation Maintenance Console - Actions button field Auto size to the amount of action buttons shown on the users view. Where there is one button shrink field size to suite. This gives more real estate availability. The same for date Work requested column. It needs to be made small by wrapping the header.

  12. Service Level Agreement to allow SLA to have an after hours redirection to different Craftsperson(s)

  13. Parameter setting - Auto close Work Request on Completion. This is currently a 1 and 0 (all in or out). Change logic to allow certain problem type to be included/excluded from this global parameter. Maybe possible be added as an attribute to the problem type.

  14. When needing to look up completed/closed work requests and looking for all the information in a concise format users need to use Archived Work Requests and Resources. This process is over complicated as users need to know the Work Order Code (found using Search and Manage). There needs to be a modification to this process either through Search and Manage or Archived Work Requests and Resources.

    The archive of a file needs to also include the completed Checklists and attachments to the work. Should be a PDF export with all of the information. Requiring users to look up information to…

  15. There are times when PMs get deferred. Updating the cause code from PM to DPM signifies that the PM has been deferred. Since the work request has a checklist associated with it, it can not be completed or closed because there is a pending step.

    Can a setting be created to allow it to bypass the step waiting for a checklist and allow the work request to be completed? We do not want to cancel the PM’s, just change the cause code and complete them as “Deferred” so reports can be run on how many pm's are getting deferred.

  16. I would like to see a filter option added to the maintenance console that would show only the requests currently assigned to the user logged in. Right now it cumbersome to try and filter only the work requests assigned to you, if you have a supervisor or above access in the maintenance console.

    One other thing, that would be nice, is the ability to have the option to search for only active assignments for an individual craftsperson, so that supervisors can essentially see what the craftspeople see when they log in.

  17. Define Craftspersons page should display a warning if the craftsperson you are deleting has logged hours on work requests. Currently, if you delete a craftsperson with logged hours on a work request, the craftsperson and all associated logged hours are removed from the work request.
    Requested change: Display a warning after clicking the Delete button and before deleting that craftsperson that informs the end user that deleting the craftsperson will also delete all hours logged on work requests for that person. Present a Confirm/Cancel option. Confirm: deletes the Craftsperson. Cancel: no records deleted.

  18. Develop a tool or task within Web Central that could bulk upload the PM task and PM schedule. I think it would be helpful than doing it one by one. The user will have an option to bulk upload or record it one by one. The tool will just have two simple steps for example - just upload schedule and task. And then the tool will auto populate the tables necessary for successful WO generation. Maybe a template file would be necessary for task and schedule.

  19. In Maintenance Console, the Status field heading is not displayed because the default grouping is by Status. If you change the display to group by another field such as Building, then you must manually add the Status field heading under Select Fields to view the status in Maintenance Console. However, once you exit Maintenance Console, the Status field heading is reset to not display by default.  

    It would be nice if the Status field heading remained even after leaving Maintenance Console.

  20. Currently, you can use the Define Holiday Dates task to define the holidays by country and region only.
    In the most of the countries, the holiday dates differ by city, even when the cities are in the same region / province.
    This, it is meaning the user can not applies local holiday dates (holiday dates by city)

    In few words, the city code should be included in Define Holiday Dates task.
