  1. The Define location has a site point of contact field that is validated against the contact table (Define Contacts). there is no way of seeing additional contact details for that point of contact. there needs to be a pop up contact card that can be accessed. there is no "view contact" available for general users who do not have admin privileges in this area.

This concept is relevant to a few areas where contacts are used.

There is also a need for secondary/alternate contacts

  2. Move procedure type from PM to PMS to allow Location or Equipment PM to be the same PM instead of having to create two

    example

Replace air filters for this building
Replace Air Filters for theses Air Handling Units
    to be location or

Having Est Labour cost, Est Material Cost and est Labour effort will greatly improve estimation comparisons an resourcing costs

  3. Define equipment select available fields section on the filtering pane should be expanded to include additional fields. as a minimum include all of the descriptions for all of the current codes available. Many users rely on descriptions only.

  4. When using the PM Planner, we are not abke to use the grid filters (which are available in ohter views) so it would be a nice addition that would help filtering and accessing the different data

  5. I often find that when the craftsperson links a request from a Preventative Maintenance Request, they forget to change the problem type from "PREVENTIVE MAINTENACE", to the correct on-demand problem type. Once this is done, since the SLA is not designed to move Preventative Maintenance work requests into the " Requested" status, the problem type cannot be changed.

There are a couple solutions/ improvements that I can see that would solve this issue:

    1. add the ability to move Preventative Maintenance requests to the "Requested" status

    2. When linking requests, change the default problem type to blank instead of the problem type…

  6. This would be really helpful to use the Planners since now it is almost impossible to identify the different elements in the view (without cliking on the elements)

When using PM Planner it is really difficult for the user to identify the equipments and equipment standards so it would be really helpful to identify the different elements in the PM Planner

  7. In the Building Operations Console, it would be nice if after a work request is selected or opened it becomes highlighted in the Building Operations Console so that it can be easily found one the detailed work request window is closed.

This is especially true for users that oversee a high volume of work requests.

  8. Work History viewed in the same format as the Building Ops console to make a consistent user experience for processing WR or reviewing history.

Effectively a read only version of the console

  9. PM Scheduling. The ability to have and active and in active flag on a PM Schedule to suspend the generation of the PM. this is currently only able to be done by changing frequency interval to mismatch with the current frequency or modify the frequency to no fall into any possible generation period.

  11. There are times when multiple Craftspersons are added to Multiple Work Requests in the Maintenance Console. Currently the Craftspeople need to be added individually. It would be nice if the Select Craftsperson could allow for multiple Craftspeople to be selected rather than one at a time.

This does not sound like much of a time savings for users; however, when there are more than a few Craftspeople to be assigned, the savings can be significant.

  12. The current "PauseEscalationsforOnHoldWork" application parameter is pausing the escalations by “stopping the SLA clock” when set to '1'. This is useful for different client requirements, but some clients have different scenarios within the same environment so the global setting will not work e.g. an emergency cannot, but a routine task can be paused. We, therefore, recommend that this setting be managed on SLA level if possible. This will provide additional system flexibility.

  13. This recommendation is related with the control that the inventory manager and craftpeople have when they recive parts, by this I mean that both should have like a registry of what parts they have given or recive in order to avoid the wrong manipulation of the parts or losses.

Also, would be good to see all the estimations by work request in an easier way.

  14. In the corrective maintenence module, when a work request is created and the craftperson has to estimate the parts he will use, the system allows a supervisor to approve the parts estimation as long as the requests status is "assined to work order", if the request status changes to "Issued and in Process", then one cannot estimate parts, nor approve the estimation by a supervisor. The only action allowed is to add used parts by the craftperson. So, as a supervisor, it's hard to control and approve the material or parts needed according to their criteria. Now, what we think…

  15. Add function that allows PMP's to be associated to eqstd or/and csiid so that PMS records can be auto-created with a default schedule date. If the PMP holds the interval information and table holding the relationship between csi and/or eq_std. This will allow for a number of useful features

    1. Quickly assign PMP to new assets
    2. Check if assets are assigned to the correct PMP's
    3. Add New PMP's to assets that are already in the system when things change.
    4. Review what assets need to be updated when/if PMP's are no longer required.

Once the Assets have a schedule the…

  17. When you setup the PM for a piece of equipment, it copies over some of the data (specifically location data) from the equipment record to the PM Schedule record which is displayed in the PM Planner.
If you change the equipment data (eg. location) after this has been setup, the changes do not automatically propagate to the PM Schedule record.

If you wish to update the PM schedule you will either need to do so in a separate step or unassign the PM Procedure and reassign it to get the updated information propagated to the PM Schedule record. Only then…

  18. It would be helpful to filter for work requests that have a Checklist from within the Maintenance Console Filter.

In addition, the ability to see the checklist embedded in the Work Request Details view would be extremely helpful. Once a wr is completed and closed, using the Search and Manage would allow the ability to still review the checklist and results that pertain to that work request.
I understand the Maintenance Survey Report is available, but this is difficult to navigate and having it right with the wr is ideal.
To go one step further - once the checklist is…

  20. When a Craftsperson receives a Work Request in Mobile Framework which references an Equipment, or when she enters or scans an Equipment Code, Mobile Framework should alert her if the Equipment is under Warranty. The Craftsperson should then have an appropriate way of handling it (e.g. Return or forward to warranty provider).
