Check-out of entire day booking
Enable a user that books a workstation for the whole day to check-out part way through the day and free the workstation making it available for hoteling for the afternoon portion of the day. Currently if they cancel their booking the system deletes the record of their booking completely, thus making the utilization report inaccurate.

Accessibility - Support the use of Windows Contrast themes
Workplace controls can 'disappear' when different Windows Accessibility Contrast themes are selected.
While accessibility improvements have been and continue to be made, users can change their Windows contrast and still have issues navigating the Workplace app.
Official accessibility support in these configurations is desired to support government clients.
Example: Using the "Aquatic" setting (see below on how to set), there were still multiple WCAG findings using a browser accessibility test tool related color contrast ratios.Steps (Windows PC):
Settings -> Accessibility -> Contrast Themes
Choose Aquatic

Allow configuration where users can check into reservations/hoteling spaces only by QR code to ensure that the user is onsite. In many cases they do not want the user at home to check into their booking they must be on site during the check in window.

To determine whether the attendees will attend the meeting virtually or in-person
There could be a scenario where organizer may invite 20 people to a meeting but only 10 would attend in-person and remaining 10 would attend virtually. This may help organizer to manage the resources, such as services, catering, space management etc. Currently, there is no provision for determining whether people will attend the meeting virtually or in-person. Having a toggle option to indicate people as virtual while adding them to the Meeting room booking will allow the organizer to get an accurate count. Moreover, if you have your Outlook or Google calendar integrated with Archibus, you can send meeting links…

Updating OOTB Service Request Types in Service Catalog
Updating OOTB Service Request Types in Service Catalog.
We are looking to add the functionality of editing the Menu Title for Out-Of-The-Box service request types in the Service Catalog e.g. SERVICE DESK - INDIVIDUAL MOVE, SERVICE DESK - HOTELING.
Currently, the Service Catalog is where all the request types in Workplace are created. It shows the Out-Of-The-Box request types and allows you to update the Menu Titles, but changes to the Menu Titles or descriptions are not reflected in the corresponding work request tiles in Workplace.
You are also given a manage activity types task, to edit the same Activity…

Maps in Workplace
When creating a Service Request in Workplace, it would be nice to be able to use a map to define its location.
Same feature as in Report Problem.3 votes -
Harmonize Meeting Booking Notifications
The notification emails are not consistent when you book a meeting as an organizer versus when you invite attendees to a meeting.
When you book as an organizer without inviting attendees, you receive an email notification with the door code info for certain rooms, but without the ics file to book it in the calendar.
If you invite other people they receive an email with the ics file, but no door code info.
Can both emails include the door code info and the ics file attachment?

Support tagging feature in Workplace
Currently, a requestor in Workplace and a technician in OnSite can view each other's comments, which is a great start. However, there is a missing piece to the communication roundtripping.
A technician can tag the requestor when commenting from OnSite, who will receive an email notification. However, when a requestor comments in the Workplace, the technician will not get notified; thus, it is hard to respond in a timely matter.
Can we implement a tagging feature when commenting in Workplace, similar to OnSite? This small enhancement will ensure the tagged person gets notified via email instantly so that they can…

Create AI features to workplace portal
Enhance workplace portal/ reservations to use AI to notify and help plan the day for a user. Notify staff when colleagues are coming to the office, help reserve their favorite hotel, look at their schedule to see if they need a meeting space and help choose one with the appropriate size (local vs remote participants) and distance and typical preferred tech. This could also prompt after a hotel or room usage to see if everything worked properly or if a ticket needs to be opened.

Having a separate module dedicated to reserving parking spaces (Like Workspaces and Meeting Spaces)
We would like to be able to allow users to book parking spaces the same way as they can book workstations.

Improve Search Results for Finding an Employee
When searching for an employee, Archibus only shows exact matches. Therefore, if someone is searching for an employee who is programmed in Archibus with a middle name, they will not appear in the results and it is unlikely the person searching would know their middle name. Improving the search results to show close matches vs. exact would be helpful.

Prevent Workplace Portal users from attaching files that are too large or unaccepted file formats
Can we prevent Workplace users from attaching files that are too large or unacceptable file formats? Or at least add some sort of warning.
Currently, if a user attaches a file that is too large or an unaccepted type, Workplace Portal still processes it. So, to the user, it looks like the request went through. However, it will be shown without a Maintenance work request code and the status will be "Created". The user is unable to do anything with the request and system administrators are unable to see it.

Floor plan not available in People & Places when employee do not have an assigned room
When an employee do not have a room assigned (or a booked workstation) but has a building assigned to his profile, and you search for that employee in People & Places in Workplace, it says that the floor plan is not available. It would be nice if the floor plans for the building would show up.

Email notification message when booking for an other employee or a visitor
When an employee book for an other employee or a visitor, the pop-up booking confirmation window says "Confirmation was sent to your email" when in fact the email was sent to the other employee or the visitor. This is confusing cause the employee is looking to get that confirmation email.
