Tomcat 10
Please add support for Tomcat 10.1 (Servlet 6.0 and JavaServer Pages 3.1 specifications). Clients are increasingly requesting to stay ahead of the curve on tomcat, and now that Tomcat 8.5 is being de-supported, it would be helpful for those clients to move directly to tomcat 10 instead of 9.

Space Console Create PDF with Highlights & Border Highlights
Be able to generate a pdf and include the border highlights. Border highlights are highly used and very valuable, but when creating a PDF they do not come through.

Maintenance Checklists at Assigned to Work Order
With this addition we would be able to look to add pre set checklist/inspections before a work request can be issued. The use case here is the need to provide work permits/ method statements often these need to be in place before the work can start. We would be able to create detailed questionnaire forms for these requirements. This will add to the flexibility of when these can be assigned and managed and force workflow.

Increase performance for restrictLoadingOfUnassignedViews setting
The restrictLoadingOfUnassignedViews setting in security.properties stops users without assigned access from using a direct link to access views, such as "Add or Edit Users". This has become an increasingly vital setting to enable to meet security requirements.
However, the performance cost at startup for it to generate an index is a big problem. We have seen up to 3-4 hour windows after a Tomcat restart where the application is not accessible.
I would like to see additional settings to control if and how the index is generated to improve performance. I understand that to accommodate customizations, this runs at startup.…

Incognito Desk Booking
Some users would like the ability to book a desk in "Incognito Mode" - meaning the desk will be booked and set to "Unavailable," however, other employees will not be able to search for the employee to see where their desk is booked.

Add Multiple Craftspersons when Editing Multiple Work Requests in the Maintenance Console
There are times when multiple Craftspersons are added to Multiple Work Requests in the Maintenance Console. Currently the Craftspeople need to be added individually. It would be nice if the Select Craftsperson could allow for multiple Craftspeople to be selected rather than one at a time.
This does not sound like much of a time savings for users; however, when there are more than a few Craftspeople to be assigned, the savings can be significant.

Runoff Area Management
Upgrade runoff area management :
Technical : Identify each runoff by a multiple key instead of autoID, like the rooms
Functional : Integrate an area report (for example, at site level in Define Locations)
AutoCAD : Be able to associate a drawing to a site, not only a building (so far, runoff drawings have to be created manually in afm_dwgs).See an example below, as designed for a customer.

Session timeout does not always redirect to the login page, displays a workflow rule error which is confusing to users.
In several instances the system displays the Error: Cannot read property 'message' of null; rather than redirecting the user to the Login Screen after a session timeout (of clearing your cache in a different browser window).
This, along with the typical timeout occurring, produces unexpected results when logging back in. This was reported as a bug but were told:The system does not inform the user that the session is approaching timeout or that the session ended. Sadly, that is is the limitation of the current design.

Hoteling - No Report Exists for Cancelled Bookings
There is currently no report available for viewing cancelled hotel bookings.
The "Bookings for a Date Range" report allows the user to search for all bookings except for cancelled ones.
Room Reservations has a "Cancelled Reservations - Details" report so it would be nice if Hoteling had an equivalent.

Project Management Console - be able to generate service tickets if you are in a work package
If one is using the Project Management Console, When one look at a project and all the actions in the project, one can create a service ticket once the action is in the scheduled status or so.
But if one goes into a work package which shows a separate set of tabs for the actions, change request, etc, if one goes into the action level for that work package, you cannot create a service ticket here. It would be nice to have that feature consistent.

Locker management for workspace reservations and flexible seating
To support workspace reservations, or team space based seating, adding additional functionality to either manage lockers or tie to locker management systems would be valuable. For example, when making a workspace reservation, give the employee an option to indicate if they will need a locker for their things along with the reservation and include a reservation for a locker as part of the same booking. Or for a simpler fix, adding an application parameter to include a checkbox on a reservation to indicate whether the employee needs a locker, and when selected include configurable instructions on the booking reservation to…

Preventative Maintenance Scheduling Changes
If there is a change to a Preventative Maintenance Schedule, the only problem-free way to do this is to unassign the PM Procedure from the Equipment or Location, Reassign and setup a new schedule. When this is done the historical data on the old 'pms' record is lost although the WRs still exist in the system.
If the change to the schedule is made by changing the Date of First PM or updating the frequency/recurrence pattern, it leads to the PM WR not getting generated.
I would suggest a few changes to make the PM Planning a more error free…

Cost Status requires manual change to get lease chargeback agreements to work
In order for lease chargeback agreements to work properly, it requires going into the Cost Wizard, finding the scheduled costs, and then changing their Cost Statuses to AUTO-CHARGEBACK. This is cumbersome since someone would need to search for the scheduled costs and change each of them from AUTO-RECURRING to AUTO-CHARGEBACK since they are monthly/quarterly/annually/etc recurring costs.
A mechanism to flag the recurring costs to default to AUTO-CHARGEBACK would save time and the potential for error.

Problems to approve a parts estimation (Status: Issued and in progress)
In the corrective maintenence module, when a work request is created and the craftperson has to estimate the parts he will use, the system allows a supervisor to approve the parts estimation as long as the requests status is "assined to work order", if the request status changes to "Issued and in Process", then one cannot estimate parts, nor approve the estimation by a supervisor. The only action allowed is to add used parts by the craftperson. So, as a supervisor, it's hard to control and approve the material or parts needed according to their criteria. Now, what we think…

Want to be able to set the label size for printing drawings to PDF/Word on a per drawing basis
Add a field to store the text label size in the afm_dwgs table and store a value for any drawing that is either larger or smaller than the default. When the drawing is loaded, the drawing parameter can be set based on that stored value, with a default value set for drawings in case they don't provide one.

Maintained Security Group Functionality List.
Could we please get a consolidated and maintained list of OOTB Security Groups and their function(s) within the application. We have taken a stab at this as of 23.2 but it would be really nice to have this list present in the help text and updated each version if/when things change. For instance when the SYS-VIEW-ALTER came to be for the VIEWS tab in Smart Client, having a list like this would have been a huge help.

Configuration options for generating an ICS/calendar file when making a desk booking
When using the hoteling features, it would be great to have an ICS file generated for the calendars so that employees at a company can tell where they need to be by going into the one place they all tend to use which is the exchange calendars. They can be set as the availability of 'Free'/'Working Elsewhere' so it doesn't prevent others from trying to book colleagues to a meeting as well.
This would be great if it is a configuration option in hoteling.

Provide an interface for archiving data from any table
Multiple tables have a need to be archived as data grows in size, particularly the captured Metrics for trends, (afmmetrictrend_values) , notifications log, and data event logs. When there is no auto archive process integrated, an archiving console could be provided that will allow the user to determine
a. the table to be archived
b. whole or partial archive
c. date or pkey (or other criteria) for archiving a partial data set
