Ability to Collapse Right-side Menu in VBS and Spaces
As a Space Planner,
I would like to be able to collapse the right-side menu items in the Spaces, VBS, and Scenario Planner modules
So that I can more easily see the full floorplan. This is especially difficult for screens with smaller resolution, or for when trying to conduct a presentation or demo.7 votesThis functionality was delivered in the June 7, 2025 release.

Space Photos: reporting needed
Currently there is an option to add photos into Spaces. This is helpful for the end user
However, there isn't any reporting that tells us what spaces have photos added. Without reporting, there's no way to keep these photos updated as sites go under renovation.
- we have no idea what spaces have photos
- we have no idea how old those photos are, unless someone was kind enough to include that in their file name (which is rare)
I'd love reporting to have these parameters:
Building info (building number/name)
Space info (space name/number/type)
Photo info (name of file (hyperlink perhaps?), date…15 votes -

Custom Labels/Icons/Markers that can be viewed on floorplan

Report running and completed indicator on 'recently run report' folder and reporting module
Can you please bring back the red dot indicating a report is completed running when you are in the reporting module? I have to return to the home tab each time to determine if the report has run and available for viewing.
In the previous version of Serraview the red dot appeared indicating the report was ready to view. Check in Reminder emails need to be tailored to each time zone.
Check in Reminder emails need to be tailored to each time zone. In Ireland currently we receive the email from 1am the same day. By the time the work day starts the email is already lost. Receiving the email at 10 or 11am wold be much more effective.

Check in reminder emails are based on the time zone of the building where the booking is taking place.

Varied Access to Insights Dashboards based on Secured Actions
We need to be able to give people (roles) access to certain Insights Dashboards yet have other Dashboards (with sensitive info) which are only available to some roles. Right now users either have access to ALL Dashboards or NONE which is very limiting.

Make it easier to view and select smaller teams in VBS
It is currently very difficult to view smaller teams of ~4 staff in VBS, as when you hover over these teams in the floor block it jumps from one to another, meaning you cannot select the one you are after as easy as version 2.
64 votesClicking the pin icon on the teams tab allows you to select smaller teams, even empty teams with 0 workpoints and 0 people. The team stack also expands when you hover your mouse over it, making it easier to select.

CSV Report Format
In 3.0 the option to download report in CSV format is missing.

Space Viewer - Person Search should show Neighborhood
Person search - when you search for person assigned to Neighborhood (Unassigned seating) it show floor only. If this function would show the neighborhood

Spaces should have a SpaceID and a Space Name
Within our CAD files we have a unique number to identify each of our spaces. We call this our SpaceID. Today this comes into Serraview's "Space Name" field. In Serraview this should really be renamed "SpaceID".
Within Serraview, we'd like to be able to optionally add in a "Space Name" for each of our rooms.

Serraview has been enhanced to allow spaces to have a Preferred Name, which will allow you to list a space by both a Space Name or ID (such as a room number) and a Preferred Name (such as a room name).

Allow clients to deactivate "This request is for someone else" function.
Allow clients to turn off the function "This request is for someone else" for new service requests so people can't submit a request on behalf of someone else.

Section titles and questions on the New Service Request Form (including Serraview standard fields) can now be created or removed, marked as mandatory and re-ordered.
Move related configuration can also be hidden from non-move related request types.
This customisation can be different for each service request type, so each request type can have a unique service request template.

Audit Logs
It seems like Audit Logs in 3.0 are not as robust as they were in 2.0. I used to be able to see who, what, and when changes were made at the building, floor, space levels... now it seems I can only see general changes in VBS? I would really love to see a return of something like the 2.0 Audit Log.

The Serraview Audit tool has been released and is now live! Audit Search contains the changes made to the Serraview data in the areas: Access Card, Asset, Building, Configuration, Custom Fields, Desk Booking, Floor, Neighborhood, Org Unit, Person, Role, Space, Tag, Team, or User. Spaces Module to remember color-by when switching floor plans
The new 'Spaces' module does not remember the legend set up when switching floor plans. In the old Space Viewer product, we could toggle specific space types on/off and then open another floor and the colors/legend would be the same. This was helpful if we were looking for specific space types on multiple floors. It saved a lot of time by not having to re-expand and re-select the desired space types.

Location visibility on Service Request grid
Add a location to the SR initial page - from location, to location or location of the requestor would help to identify unassigned SR more easily.

Alternative employee search options
Searching by name is sometimes problematic when people’s official name is different from the name they are known by or used in their email address. To avoid this frustration I typically search for people using their e-mail address. Could we search for people by name, email address ?
