  1. Allow users to scroll on the work request list without the app locking. Would greatly improve usability for anyone with a newer iPhone since right now they have to uninstall and reinstall the app to continue scrolling on wr list.

  2. The ability for all users to be able to apply a star [or other type of flag], that only they can see, to work requests within the building operations console .

    This would be similar to what you see in most email inboxes. It would allow users with high volumes of work requests to help organize them better and find work requests that they want to focus on faster. Ideally the ability to flag a work request would work like a checkbox where you would click on it and a star symbol [or similar] would show.

  3. We generate our PPMs several weeks in advance as our business requires advance planning for example to ensure resources and access requirements are in place.

    For example, our PPMs are manually generated in blocks of a calendar month at a time, 2 months in advance. So at the beginning of January 2021, we generated the PPMs for the calendar month of March, for us this is approx. 4000 PPMs per month. We have 100k+ assets, over 600 buildings and 16k+ PMS records, the PPMs take a long time to generate, part of the reason for this is down to network…

  4. When you generate equipment based PPMs you can do so by filtering it to Site, Building, Floor, PM Schedule Group & Trade.
    Can this list be expanded and especially have the option to filter by EQ fields - EQ ID, Standard, EQ system ID etc, but definitely EQ ID.
    And in both eq and location PPM generation screens to be able to filter by the PM procedure.

  5. In our business we can very often have multiple Craftperson or multiple visits by the same Craftperson on a single work request. In the Craftperson section of the work request these are listed alphabetically by the Craftperson id.

    It would make much more sense and make the 'narrative, of the work carried out much easier if the entries could be sorted by the date/time when the work was carried out.

  6. There is an inconsistency with how Room Reservations can be done using Workplace versus the Mobile Framework.

    Reserving a room in Workplace can be done by viewing a floor plan and selecting an available room but on the mobile framework, the user is required to enter search criteria and is provided with a list of available rooms.

    However, with Hoteling, a user is able to select a building and floor and then choose an available room from the floor plan.

    So Hoteling provides functionality somewhat similar between both interfaces but Room Reservations does not.

  7. This request is for a configuration option to disable Move Management emails.

    The Move Management application can be configured in a variety of different ways, it's often that emails are unnecessary and confusing. If emails are enabled for the Archibus system because they are needed for other applications, there is no setting to specifically disable Move Management's emails.

  8. Is it possible to bring back the horizontal scroll bar in the asset transaction history?
    The scroll bar is available in version 25.1.
    I've attached the screenshots for reference.

  9. Is there a way of adding the building/floor info to the pdf title?

    The name ab-sp-console-drawing-pdf-none-space-2021-02-04051207.961.pdf is not very useful and takes a lot of time to rename each one.

  10. I have followed the process outlined in the help to globally import employee photos so that they are available in Workplace. It worked well but seems to be a detailed process that has many steps.
    1. Would like to see a way to get the images in easily. Our client would like them to display on Workplace and be updated regularly. It would be ideal to have a connector and be able to tie it in with automated feeds from a clients HR system.

  11. If the end day does not fit exactly on the day of the meeting, then the reservation will not be created.

    Web central is OK, sets the correct end date. But MS Outlook sets the specified date and it probably makes Archibus problems.

    A message is written in the log that the end date does not correspond to the required one.

    Operation failed: Job failed
    The recurrence end date is invalid. To create the reservation, first use the recurrence dialog to correct the end date.

  12. Users who are now having to constantly come into the office would want to have an ability to star/favorite a set of favorite desks so that they can book faster on the workplace portal.

    The flow could be something like this:
    1. go to the portal
    2. book a desk
    3. the floor plan loads up a floor, likely defaulted to their em.fl_id record
    4. a minor star icon or some highlight can be shown to show their most frequently used/preferred desk.

    There would be a place to also set 'save as favorite desk' as well.

  13. There is a GDPR access that normally is in the regular ARCHIBUS but it seems the AFM-CLI user that would be the client’s administrator would not have access to
    System/System/Archibus Administrator - User and Security/GDPR - Search Personal Information

    This view would grant access to what is rightfully the client’s data. Would there be intent to release that view to the Archibus cloud client administrator’s role?

    For the purposes of client staff leaving, it makes sense that the client themselves manages this data that is deemed as personal identifiable information instead of the business partner.

  14. Add an excel based move list report which can be sent to various stakeholders in addition to the paginated word report which is long and tedious to read for larger moves.

    This should collate all the various move items from the different tabs with some key information on the move project.
    (employee, new hire, leaving employees, asset, etc)

  17. With the following settings:
    afmscmpref.basemetricunits = 0 (i.e. millimeters)
    afm
    scmpref.units = 2 (i.e. per locale)
    SmartClient locale = any locale using the metric system

    When I open an unregistered drawing in AutoCAD + SmartClient extensions, the Register Drawing popup appears with Metric - cm preselected.

    I expect the default to be Metric - mm. Allowing this default to be changed based on afm_scmpref we can avoid mistakes for clients where all drawings are in mm.

    Note when I switch the radiobutton to Imperial and then back to Metric, the 25.2 SmartClient UI does select mm automatically…

  18. Ability to prompt the user with a comments popup when updating the status of a work request. It would be applicable for all statuses, similar to the prompt when changing the status to "Issued In Process"

  19. For our back to work effort, we added the "Room by Status" to the Space Console Highlight menu. We did not extend this highlight to the Move console. It will be beneficial to add this highlight to the Move console as well so users can see and prepare scenarios, not just for rooms by occupancy, but also for available rooms after applying social distancing guidelines.

  20. If you are using the advanced filter In the space console, and cross-reference parameters there is no visual indication or label that suggests a filter is applied.

    for example, if filter the Space Console to show: room status restricted by Department and Day of the Week, I would like that restriction to show as a label on the floorplan view.
