  2. Create an automated method (not relying on timeouts) to log people out of Archibus when they do not select the "Log Out" button from within Web Central. From several of our customers, we are receiving complaints that users are unable to log back in after they "X" out of Archibus instead of selecting the "Log Out" button. They are experiencing this across all browsers and browser versions. It is negatively affecting the user experience.

  3. In workplace-hoteling, when you select a room to book that has a large capacity, if a lots of employees already booked that room, you see their names in the list and the list is sometime so long that you need to zoom out to see the "Book" button. And when you zoom out, it become too small; it doesn’t meet accessibility requirement. It would be nice to have a scroll bar on the side.

  5. While the feature to search for employees in Workplace and being able to locate them on a floor plan is nice, it can also lead to issues for organizations that need to honor employee privacy. Hypothetically, an employee can locate and stalk another employee by searching and booking a desk near them without the other employee knowing.

My suggestion is to introduce some mechanism to anonymize this either by having it apply globally as an application parameter or by creating a field called em.ispublic to control it on an employee by employee basis. Employee's have it defaulted to Yes and…

  6. Condition assessments are essential to determining Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and being able to manage/budget for the life cycle of a company's Real Property portfolio. A new Condition Assessment Console with new features that brings more data together from other ARCHIBUS modules would make great strides to making the Condition Assessment module an essential part of a company's tool set for an end to end facility management program. Please see attached example of how the State of Minnesota developed a Condition Assessment Console for internal use.

  7. When enter search criteria the window is sized to accommodate the number of records returned; however the returned records are quickly replaced by the first 100 records in the building list.  So if only 1 record was returned the window size only accommodates 1 record but that single record is quickly replaced by the first 100 records but you have to scroll to see them all and your record may not be in that first 100.

  8. ARCHIBUS should respect clipped XREF boundaries set in CAD.

At present ARCHIBUS ignores them when publishing enterprise graphics, resulting in the entire XREF being shown. The best alternative we can offer clients with readability problems on especially large floor plans (100k+ SqFt) is to break up the source CAD file, which solves that problem but introduces other drawing management challenges. Respecting clipped XREF boundaries would make it possible to maintain a single source CAD background for large floor plans.

  9. Currently in workplace when you create a request, users are unable to type in the room code, instead they must select the room from the floor plan in the "Select Location window". Please add the following:
    1. add a search bar to the select location view
    2. add the ability for users to type in text in the location fields (ie building, floor and location/room code)

This is needed for the numerous users who place requests for others or for spaces outside of their assigned workplaces

  10. Currently the system links PM work to SLA's via the PM Procedure meaning every time a PM procedure is added the user needs to create or add the new PM procedure to an SLA. by adding the criticality field as a check value the PM can be link directly as a catch all for this criticality i.e. Statutory and Non Statutory as a minimum. The system can still use a single PMP or also link to the location and equipment data. Grouping code may also be a useful link option to PM schedule for SLA's.

  11. The View and Print Floor Plans view is great for the current state of layouts, but clients using Workspace Transactions (WTS), also want the ability to print previous points in time. They want to select a date and view the highlights, then print to the same page layout (with title block and legend) with the selected date added to the print.

  14. As a federal government customer and user with over 50,000 staff worldwide, I want the mobile application to be fully 508 compliant. The user experience should not be limited to Workplace. Many of our users with accessibility issues serve in roles that are not mirrored in or addressed by Workplace.

Significant improvements have been made in Workplace with the release of 2022.3 (https://spaceiq.uservoice.com/forums/925339-archibus/suggestions/39281131-508-wcag-accessibility-compliance). This same effort needs to be applied to the mobile application.

  15. Customers that use numbers for dv/dp and then names for the descriptions are locked into sorting the Division/Department list by the ID. If the ID field is turned off and only the name displays, the list still sorts by the ID, not sorted by name, making it difficult to find the Division/Dept

Users should be able to sort the data by the name field vs. the ID field

  16. Ability to link Actions to a Move Questionnaire, similar to how Actions are linked to Work Packages and Project Templates in the Capital Projects module.

The goal is auto-create Actions for a move based on a Yes/No responses in a questionnaire. Certain questions always require an action, currently this requires a Move Coordinator to manually add actions for each move based on the response. If this were auto-created based on a template, it would save a tremendous amount of time managing moves.

  17. Define Craftspersons page should display a warning if the craftsperson you are deleting has logged hours on work requests. Currently, if you delete a craftsperson with logged hours on a work request, the craftsperson and all associated logged hours are removed from the work request.
Requested change: Display a warning after clicking the Delete button and before deleting that craftsperson that informs the end user that deleting the craftsperson will also delete all hours logged on work requests for that person. Present a Confirm/Cancel option. Confirm: deletes the Craftsperson. Cancel: no records deleted.
See attached screen captures of current behaviour…

  20. The ability to be able to Print a completed compliance questionnaire is essential to some business processes. Having a physical copy or pdf copy of a completed questionnaire will allow a safety director or internal auditor to follow up on completed questionnaires that trigger a safety concern or violation. Being able to address the person who completed the questionnaire with an actual copy to determine if safety concerns/violations have been remediated is essential for an end to end compliance program.
