  2. Currently this only applies to Hoteling but we also need this feature for Reservations.

    Clients/User that only implemented Reservations need their employees to be only able to book specific meeting spaces or areas according to their employee standards.

  3. As of v2023, the current placeholder text for document fields is "Drag-and-drop your file or click up...". One of the most common questions I get is why drag and drop isn't working. The answer is always that they haven't saved the record yet.

    It would be really nice if the placeholder text was "Save the record to upload a document" when record is not saved and then it switches to the current one telling them to drag and drop or use the up arrow after the record is saved.

  4. Out of the box, only members of the HOTELING ADMINISTRATION security group can cancel a Hoteling Booking with a Start Date in the past. This is desirable for regular, single day bookings. However, for multi-day/recurring bookings it is often necessary to cancel future date bookings sometime in the middle of the booking period. Right now it just won't let you. It should leave all past days as valid booking and cancel all future days to open the room for other bookings on those days.

  5. When assigning a permanent seat, it would be great if the system could check for existing hoteling bookings and issue a warning message to ask if future bookings should be deleted.

  6. It would be very useful to have access to a bug tracking tool for Archibus. We often reports issues to our integrator and we don't know if the issues are even tracked or processed.

  7. Grid Controls 3.0 have this limitation that prevents exporting their content in DOCX, PDF or XLS format which would be instead really helpful for users to have.

    In Reports Central, when the Add Filter button is pressed, the list of selected fields appears allowing the user to add a filter for the field. If the user creates a filter for a field, and then presses Add Filter again, the field that just had a filter created is not listed. This means they are not able to add an additional condition for the field they just filtered. This limits the filtering ability the user is able to perform.

    In Reports Central, it is possible to show totals of Sum, Average, Minimum, and Maximum for numeric fields. However, only one of the totals can be selected for each field meaning that if you only have one numeric field, you can't have both Sum and Average for example. It doesn't make sense to have a limitation based on the number of numeric fields available.

  8. Provide the ability to restrict meeting space bookings by Team (follow same logic as Work space bookings under hoteling application).

    The 'Available for Group' field in the room arrangement becomes difficult to manage user role assignments.

  9. Can the 'Scheduled Substitutes' task be expanded to enable the ability to schedule a substitution for the Requestor, in the same way we use the tools to substitute Craftspersons?

    That way when 'Requestor A' goes on vacation, we can assign 'Requestor B' as a substitute, so that Requestor B would see all work requests that Requestor A submitted.

  11. Dear Team,
    While accessing Track Incident we found some Issue. Where if we load Track incident and didn't use it for 15 minutes or while session time out and open new tab in browser and logged in Archibus and go back to Track Incident tab in browser and select any Incident which is having documentation it will not show instead it shows blank rows.Please follow below step to reproduce it.

    1. Login as AFM

    2. Go to <Track Incidents>1. Load track incident view filter it with incident id which is having doc and do not click on incident id.

    3. Wait for session…

  12. We have more and more clients wanting to implement SAML via AWS, Azure or ADFS and Archibus only supports Legacy Header Based Authentication. We want to know (or suggest) if it's possible to build service provider features into Archibus.
    Bring Archibus into current times and make it capable of Modern Authentication for user access. Else, we have to install and support Shibboleth-SP with every SAML request.
    More and more of our clients are asking why ARCHIBUS do not use modern authentication. They have to apply for a dispensation to deviate from the prescribed minimum standards and requirements to have Shibboleth-SP…

  13. For French Canadian users of Workplace, some inconsistencies and/or errors in translation have been noted as follows:

    1. When defining recurrence patterns (motif de recurrence) in French, the options are misleading: and should be replaced as below:
      English | Existing French Translation |Proposed French Translation

      Weekly | 1 fois/semaine |Hebdomadaire
      Monthly | 1 fois / mois |Mensuelle

    2. "Floor" is translated into French as “Étage”, but is seen missing the accent on the first "E" in Workplace. As Workplace is not accessible for localization in SaaS projects, this should be amended application- wide so that the translation is…

  14. Can Model Number and Manufacturer be added to the Surveys so this data can be entered when staff performs building surveys? See attached for the current fields that can be added. Those fields are missing.

  15. Currently in V2022.03, if there is an issue with an email address of an added attendee when booking a meeting space the following error is shown.

    Error: Could not create reservation. The room may have been already booked. Please cancel and search for another room

    This request is to improve the error message to describe the issue with the email address, similar to the Reservation Calendar Console, which identifies that there is an issue with the email address when adding the attendee to the meeting.

  16. For the feature ("See Meeting Attendees") in V2023.01, while booking the meeting room , we need to add the attendees, but multiple selection of these attendess is not possible. For each employee we need to select one by one, which could a tedious job when many attendees are required.

  18. As a federal government customer and user with over 50,000 staff worldwide, I want Web Central to be fully 508 compliant. The user experience should not be limited to Workplace. Many of our users with accessibility issues serve in roles that are not mirrored in or addressed by Workplace.

    Significant improvements have been made in Workplace with the release of 2022.3 (https://spaceiq.uservoice.com/forums/925339-archibus/suggestions/39281131-508-wcag-accessibility-compliance). This same effort needs to be applied to Web Central.
