  1. PM WR check lists - Allow check list to display and push certain data back to other tables in the databases.

    A location based PM - check an update condition index on multiple eq_id

    Checklist question

    1) inspect and update "eq.ed_id#1" "eq.decription#1" condition. Previous ci "eq#1.ci" type in new ci "checklist ci Field"

  2. Previously, for On premise versions, Archibus had some configuration files that allowed the authorization process (to give a role to the user based on an AD security group). In SaaS, this is not possible as it is not considered as a standard feature.
    The suggestion is to add this process as standard for SaaS, as there are several companies that require it. The process would work like this:
    • Customer IT team creates the needed groups in AD, using archibus-identifiable encoding (e.g., starting with an ARCH prefix)
    • Archibus admins create new roles in Archibus, with the same encoding than…

  3. Search function of Workplace allows to find and visualise on plan ANY room/building/floor that has been defined in WebCentral, and there is no way to control the visibility.

    Our organisation has highly sensitive functions, so for reasons of security, we do not want Workplace users to have access to plans of certain floors.
    In addition, we have defined all areas of buildings as "rooms", so the room search also returns toilets, elevators and technical areas.

    We had to commission custom development to prevent the users from seeing anything but the locations of colleagues who booked workspaces. Please develop a functionality…

  4. Our customer requests the ability to display any message when a tree panel is filtered and there are no hits.

    If there were no hit records in the GRID panel, "No records to display." will be displayed.
    However, if there are no records in the TREE panel such as in the "Define Organizations" and "Equipment Systems Console" tasks, nothing is displayed and the panel is completely blank.

    This is a minor detail, but this specification is unpopular with customers. Even when the behavior is correct, it appears to the user as if an error has occurred on the view.

  5. Multiple customers have recently been asking for a Microsoft Teams integration to support Reservations/Hoteling. As Teams is now becoming more of a central coordination point for many organizations, not just for chat but for file sharing and time management, keeping all administrative tasks centralized to a single app like Teams is desired. This could be as simple as an app built for teams that displays Archibus Workplace within the Teams environment.

  7. Version 2022.02 introduced this issue. Select a floorplan to display, switch to another floor or building/floor. The previously displayed floor displays with no highlights before the new floor displays.

    This reflects poorly on the ARCHIBUS software and is confusing to the end user.

  9. It would be good for the workplace portal to display a photo of the desk being booked.
    Though most client won't have the luxury of time to upload a photo of each desk, it would nice to have a bulk photo reference where one can upload a photo of a desk and it could mean it's the photo of all desks in the building, or desks that match a type or a floor.

  10. We need Auto-Lookups to work in the Workplace Portal please. Many of our customers use the employee number for the employee ID as well as codes for buildings and orgs.

  11. I often find that when the craftsperson links a request from a Preventative Maintenance Request, they forget to change the problem type from "PREVENTIVE MAINTENACE", to the correct on-demand problem type. Once this is done, since the SLA is not designed to move Preventative Maintenance work requests into the " Requested" status, the problem type cannot be changed.

    There are a couple solutions/ improvements that I can see that would solve this issue:

    1. add the ability to move Preventative Maintenance requests to the "Requested" status

    2. When linking requests, change the default problem type to blank instead of the problem type…

  12. When you setup the PM for a piece of equipment, it copies over some of the data (specifically location data) from the equipment record to the PM Schedule record which is displayed in the PM Planner.
    If you change the equipment data (eg. location) after this has been setup, the changes do not automatically propagate to the PM Schedule record.

    If you wish to update the PM schedule you will either need to do so in a separate step or unassign the PM Procedure and reassign it to get the updated information propagated to the PM Schedule record. Only then…

  13. VPA settings should be controllable for Workplace separate from Web Central

    As a user with VPA restrictions for Web Central, I only have access to view and edit data in a list of buildings (controlled by VPA)

    When I am going to travel to another location and want to use the 'Locate Employee' function in workplace OR Hoteling / Room Reservations - I need to be able to view other locations that are NOT in my VPA restriction.

  14. When the organization uses SAML for authentication, you must setup a second instance of Web Central to support API calls. If the organization is using Onsite, then another instance of Web Central must be setup to support that application. Once these secondary environments are up, a user can go to the URL and attempt to log into those systems.

    We are requesting a switch in Web Central config files that would disable the UI login capability. With this switch turned on, a user would receive a message on the Archibus login page suggesting they are not authorized to log into…

  15. Tracking changes to Asset status, condition etc..

    We use the basic Asset Portal, and accept this has limited functionality over the full Enterprise asset management module. However our requirements have changed and we need better management of lifecycle changes to our assets. On seeking further information on the enterprise asset management module capabilities i was disappointed to find out it didn't meet our needs, which i think are a fair requirement. These are:

  16. When we run the locker report from lockers even though Currently when filter/s are applied to show sites needed, using the quick report still shows all lockers regardless of filter.
    Much like insights, when launching the reports it shows you the data based on the filters applied, we'd like quick reports to do the same.

  17. Let users know on floor plan/during selection process, that it is subject to approval. Also when they reserve the room the message should read that the request is pending approval and the status pending approval should be displayed in the Workplace Reservations tab.

  19. The Building Metrics tiles on the Homepages should be clickable allowing the user to launch a report view. The option should be configurable in the Manage Homepage Wizard, allowing the system to launch Space Console or Lease Console, restricted to the building code selected. This will be great for demos and offer the client an easy way to navigate the system.
