Service Level Agreement Mandatory Field Selection
Problem:
When additional steps such as "Approve", "Estimate" or "Schedule" are added to a Service Level Agreement. you only need to click on the "Estimate" button to move to the next step and so on. This means you can simply move through the step with no addition of a "Trade" for example. The resulting WR will have no trade which has ongoing problems with the visibility of WR to users.Solution:

Reservation
Reservation Editing determined by group allowed to approve or additional field/security group. Currently without the Reservation Manager security group assigned, a user can only edit (per my understanding) a reservation that they created or where they are the requested for/by. Many clients, especially in government, have groups that manage large sets of rooms and need the ability to edit any reservation that falls into that group. There is a need for a field or security group to allow full edit rights to any reservations that falls into a set of rooms, without having to give access to edit every reservation.

Core functionality - Select fields dialog - Expand field available for selection
The selection of available field so enable users to add additional existing fields to the select fields. This list is currently limited and should be customisable to expand the list of field available.

Expand the use of SLA by adding problem type to the Manage Service Level screens.
This allows proper management of discrete reactive activities that attract differing responses

System usage statistics
The following information is to be made available from a system usage statistics perspective:
• Information on who (profiles) logged into the system
• When (start timestamp) did this login take place
• For how long did the session last (end timestamp)
• What applications were used during the session / Which tasks were accessed during the sessionThis basic information will enable clients to monitor system usage and use it as a tool to manage staff performance and adherence to internal processes.

floor number display on Space Console - allow site to order
Add ability to indicate a display order for floors on the Space Console on the FL table. Currently if a building has a floor 4 and a floor 14, floor 4 will be listed after floor 14 on the floor list.

Disply Workplace Applications by Role
Currently, Workplace Applications display settings are universal. But different users need different applications (e.g., internal users need Hoteling, external users such as tenants, branch managers or vendors do not). Add security groups to control application display options (as in Mobile).

Display Control in Paginated Reports
Currently, there is very little control over how fields are placed and displayed within a paginated report column panel. It would be nice for it to respect attributes like colspan and rowspan so that fields can be placed in an order that makes sense.

Simplify adding time to multiple WR at once
The user experience for adding time to multiple WR at once in the Maint. Console is confusing at best. You select multiple WR and click the 'Update' button. Then select 'Add Craftspersons' (not add time) and it opens a second window. The second window is fine, but it returns you to the Update window. Now what? They have to click the 'X' to close or click 'Cancel' - neither seem right. Customers instead are clicking the 'Update' button to close (since they did make a change by adding time). On loading a new floor in Space Console
Improve the floor image panel refresh when loading a new floor in Space Console v2022.2 when a fllor plan is open and highlighted selecting a new BL FL the panel clears the load the previous floor (unhighlighted) before loading the new floor (only slightly annoying but would improve the user experience)

More secure way of configuring email sender for external domains
Currently, if you need to configure an email sender for external domain (let's say, the Client's domain), the way of doing it is to configure mail.properties with a line like this: mail.host.password=TO_ENCRYPT(plaintextvalue). And then to run task "Encrypt Passwords in Configuration Files". This is not acceptable for many Clients, as they have to comply with many security policies, and it is not secure for them to send the plain text password to Archibus, so Archibus configures mail.properties and then encrypts the password.

Create a Process to notify employees that a desk they have booked is no longer available.

A client has an internet page you can find a location, employee etc. Example find John Doe, then from the internet page you select John's location and it launches workplace and displays the Johns location on a floor plan.

Workplace: Floorplan labels by employee name
Some of our clients are using Workplace as the only interface for their user base. These users are identified as "Requestors" and since they aren't granted access to Web Central, there isn't a way to view an occupancy plan - meaning seeing employees on a floor plan. Workplace allows a user to search an employee but what's more desired is to bring up a floor plan and see who is seated on the entire floor at once. Default selected floor Hoteling (workplace)
When using Hoteling now, the default selection is the first (in order) floor of the building you are assigned to.
It would make more sense to have the selection default to the floor you are assigned to (if no floor is assigned to the employee current behavior is correct)

Preserve user custom fields (defined using Select Fields) from browser cache cleanup
Implement a mechanism to avoid that users loose their local settings (e.g. Select Fields column layout, etc.) after clearing the web browser cache.
Basically, when a user customize a grid panel's columns layout, perhaps hiding or showing more columns, those settings are stored locally on the user's browser temporary files. As soon as the user cleans the browser cache such settings are gone and he/she has to start over every time for all the views.14 votes -

Do not display Step Log Steps that are not relevant.
When a WR is are requested stage there are multiple people that are able to take action, such as issuing the WR. when the action is completed, all of the other "possible people" remain visible.
