Allow Department Contacts access to Edit Moves
When the requestor enters a Department Contact for a move, the contact receives an email with a link to view the move, but that is it. For a lot of groups that contact is the admin and they would like for the moves they are "tagged" in to show up under "Examine My Moves" for tracking and reference.

Store results of shared spaces chargeback calculation
Currently as soon as the user launches a new space chargeback calculation the results of previous calculations are cleared and there is no way of getting them back other than re-launching the chargeback with exactly the same parameters.
Would it be possible to store in a permanent way such results, so that users will be able to access them over time and perhaps do monitoring/reporting?3 votes -
satisfaction surveys available to the workplace portal
The end users are really appreciating the workplace portal. However, there is starting to be more demand for features like a satisfaction survey which comes after a request. This survey shouldn't affect whether or not the service request can be closed (ie let's say that after X days the completed ticket should just close anyways regardless if the user submitted a satisfaction survey or not).
It would be great if the workplace portal also has ability to handle a satisfaction survey for a conclusion of a service request. Basically the user can still get an email that they can fill…

Search for Work Request with Maintenance Checklist in Console & Additional Checklist enhancements
It would be helpful to filter for work requests that have a Checklist from within the Maintenance Console Filter.
In addition, the ability to see the checklist embedded in the Work Request Details view would be extremely helpful. Once a wr is completed and closed, using the Search and Manage would allow the ability to still review the checklist and results that pertain to that work request.
I understand the Maintenance Survey Report is available, but this is difficult to navigate and having it right with the wr is ideal.

Provide bulk delete feature to System Admins
Remember Client/Server's "Delete Table" button that allowed you to delete all records in a table that matched the current restriction? It would be very useful to have some way to bulk delete records in current Archibus environments. This will need to be very limited to admins only, but the need is there, especially in hosted environments where administrators may not have full access to backend tools.

Version 26.3 - Define Locations - screen - Make the same screen available in view only mode
The new Define locations screen has great Feature allowing the user to select additional field to display. The current view locations fields does not have the same look/feel /function.
The new define locations screen should have a read only version (just remove the update function).
this enable us to have consistent training and use of the functions across the organisation

Restricting who can book Hoteling (or Rooms) for someone else
When booking a workstation you are able to book in someone else's name, but it would be nice for this to be controlled somehow (for example with a security group)
Additionally it would be nice to make groups of people you can book for such as a secretary booking for people in their department/division

additional comments
When entering time in a work log craftspeople are prompted with a mandatory field called additional comments. The issue with this field is that the content does not populate on a report. IE if you run a report on archived requests you only see Craftspersons notes.
An ideal resolve would be to have the additional comments appear in the craftsperosn's notes field. This would make it easier for management to review work orders and for running reports as the additional comments field doesn't populate in the same data table as the other critical work order information.

Limit Layers Displayed on Floorplans
Currently, all published layers display in Workplace floorplans. Many organizations publish many layers. Web Central views can control which layers display, but Workplace cannot. Perhaps a system parameter? Or a new publishing rule dedicated to Workplace. Best would be different settings for different Workplace application.

Adding List of Active Work Requests for Location to Work Requests
This would be similar to the Maintenance History section in work requests, which shows a history of all work requests placed for that piece of equipment. I would like to see this concept expanded to work requests that don't have equipment codes, where the maintenance history would show the work requests for the room code. This would help reduce the number of requests for the same scope of work.

Multipe parts for specific step on procedure
I would suggest having the possibility to add multiple parts for a single step in a procedure in order to have an estimation more accurate (or actually useful, because we can't even use the feature as it's limiting to single part) per step.
I would definitely explore the use of Bill of Material (BOM) that could be useful for specific to pmp or specific to pms (because sometimes the procedure is the same, but based on the equipment, as example, filter sizes can differ).3 votes -

Ability to review past reservations in Workplace Reservations tab (i.e. if I want to remember what I booked last month because I really liked that room and want to book it again).

escalation notification emails
Escalation Notifications - The current escalation process and notification process is a global yes /no. The problem is that this blanket approach sends too many emails to irrelevant people and for works that are no critical enough to Warrant this type of response.
Solution
Part 1 - possibly move the escalation flag to the SLA this would allow discrete processing to happen or have an opt out button on the SLA to negate the global parameter.

Document Stored in file directories not the database
We are starting to have considerable problems with supporting databases of clients that have heavily adopted the uses of document management. This is giving us almost unmanageable size databases with 90% of the database size just documents. we have a 65Gb database with 55Gb of documents. I feel there is a definite need to review how documents are managed and look to store within files that are far more manageable and designed for storage of this kind and leave the data for data. if a method is identified an option should be created to move the current docs out, maybe…

How to see assets and employees on same view ?
When you use assign view for asset, you see only them in the view.
If you want to see assets and employees on same view, you have put symbol of assets and employees on Revit and then through space console you have both.

Show Equipment Standard Description and Eq Description in PM Planner
This would be really helpful to use the Planners since now it is almost impossible to identify the different elements in the view (without cliking on the elements)
When using PM Planner it is really difficult for the user to identify the equipments and equipment standards so it would be really helpful to identify the different elements in the PM Planner

incident & project requests on the workplace
The workplace has actually garnered a lot of positive feedback, where it seems to be missing is dealing with the client base that wants to do more with it where it would be more streamlined if the workplace can be the place to enter in a project and to enter in incidents.
When these are created then the incident would have the service request tied to it and when the project request is made, hopefully a ticket can be associated to it because the service desk component can potentially be leverage to enable an approval process there.

Local logs disclose too much data
One of our customer did a comprehensive InfoSec audit to validate Archibus as a safe product. One medium point was about the logs that one can view from SmartClient. They seems to disclose too much data (server version), especially when errors occur (jdk version, tomcat version, etc.)
It would be nice to raise security, here are some hints :
- password protect logs viewing
- have verbose levels

Space Planning Console - Warn user before closing form if data not saved
In the Space Console, after adding or modifying existing data, click close or X to close the form. WebCentral closes the form without warning the user. A prompt to the user would give them a chance to commit their changes before they are lost.

PM Scheduling have an active and inactive flag to turn schedules off or on
PM Scheduling. The ability to have and active and in active flag on a PM Schedule to suspend the generation of the PM. this is currently only able to be done by changing frequency interval to mismatch with the current frequency or modify the frequency to no fall into any possible generation period.
