Special Caracter's in Search function (e.a. Desk Booking)
We have received feedback from the users regarding the SEARCH functionality in the Hoteling (desk booking) application.
The search requires to use the exact spelling. It creates difficulties for employees with special characters in name or surname (for example: Børis (Ö, ø …)).
Our request is to enhance the search functionality to return all possible existing names (børis, Böris, boris) even if the user enters Boris in the search field.

The data transfer via csv should better check the structure of the import file.

Consistent Location Pin
When one searches for a person using the People and Places search, the location pin appears in a very faint grey/white colour, which is hardly visible against the drawing background.
By contrast, the location pin appears in a more visible dark grey/grey colour when the “Find Employee” filter is applied when booking a workspace.
It would be preferred if the location pin could be in darker, more visible colours- like they dark grey/grey combination as shown, consistently across the Workplace module.3 votes -

Keep Work Request Status as a Displayed Field Heading in Maintenance Console After Exiting the Screen
In Maintenance Console, the Status field heading is not displayed because the default grouping is by Status. If you change the display to group by another field such as Building, then you must manually add the Status field heading under Select Fields to view the status in Maintenance Console. However, once you exit Maintenance Console, the Status field heading is reset to not display by default.
It would be nice if the Status field heading remained even after leaving Maintenance Console.

Platform integration with cloud storage services
As an administrator, in order to reduce the size of the database, I would like to offload activity log and data event log records to an AWS S3 bucket or Azure blob storage.

Enhance Revit integration : units handling should be available for all Revit base units (also for temperature, volume, luminous int., ...)
Revit uses an internal base unit system (see attached screenshot) and only converts the units in the UI for the Revit user, based on the projects/user's preferences.
When mapping Revit parameters with units other than for area and length to ARCHIBUS, the base units are not converted to the ARCHIBUS user's preferences.
For now ARCHIBUS has only set up conversion rules for area and length values, but not for values destined for temperature, volume, or any other field type.

Revision to Space Console quick search functionality after 2022.02 does not allow user to select 1 floor to display at a time
In version 2022.02 you can enter information into the quick search and a drop down list of floors that meet your criteria displays. You select the floor and the floorplan automatically loads on the right panel. This is a quick and easy way to search for and display 1 floor at a time.
In version 2022.04 the quick search gives you a room list result and you must check the box next to the floor you want.
This change has eliminated the user friendly quick search if the end user easily wants to search for just 1 floor.

Security group override for the HotelBookingRestrictions application parameter
Add the ability to allow specific users to book a workspace assigned to any dv/dp, while restricting most users to only book a workspace assigned to their dv/dp.
In V2023.01 users not assigned to any hoteling security group can book a workspace outside of their assigned dv/dp (the help file is incorrect - zendesk ticket 281611). The HotelBookingRestrictions parameter is global for all users, regardless of security groups assigned. A security group that overrides the HotelBookingRestrictions application parameter would provide a solution to this requirement.

Booking details in the event title on Calendar
When sending out the calendar invite for a booked workspace, It would be useful adding the seat number to the subject.

Attach more than 4 Documents per Work/Service Request
Our clients are requesting for them to be able to upload more than 4 documents into their work/service requests. We used to implement an alternative to use .zip to upload multiple files but since its been discontinued its been quite a problem for the users. Thanks.

Improve all views base functionnalities
Archibus has plenty of interesting views but you can't always search them properly and manipulate them properly
For each views:
- we should be able to search any fields in define the views,
- there should be more flexible way search like allowing some operators (<, >, *, etc...
- show/hide some columns
- extract the information in different format (csv, excel), if the administrator has allowed it
- store user preferences in the database and not the session. It should be retained across browsers, sessions, devices, etc...4 votes -
Work Request shouldn't be closed with pending Satisfaction Survey
Currently Supervisors are able to Close work requests with pending satisfaction survey. Some managements require this to be completed before closing and being able to track their ratings for customer service improvement.

Add "city code" in the Holiday Dates definition
Currently, you can use the Define Holiday Dates task to define the holidays by country and region only.
In the most of the countries, the holiday dates differ by city, even when the cities are in the same region / province.
This, it is meaning the user can not applies local holiday dates (holiday dates by city)In few words, the city code should be included in Define Holiday Dates task.

Portfolio Edit Wizard - Restrict location fields based on higher level location data
Within the Portfolio Edit Wizard, restrict the options for what a user can put in a location field based on what higher level location fields they've already completed. So for example, if I put Hawaii as the State Code, I shouldn't then be able to input an address in Address 1, Postal Code or Property Code for a location in Ohio.

Add Recurring Cost without Using Location Tree
When creating a recurring cost in the Costs Wizard - Leases, Building, and Properties, enable the Add Recurring Cost button to show without needing to use the location tree.
At present the Add Recurring Cost button only appears if you search using the filters then navigate to the correct item in the location tree which is inefficient and unnecessary if you know sufficient detail about the item to which you want to add a Recurring Cost.

Showing and Accessing Enumeration List
One way of telling if there is an enumeration list for a field is that an ellipsis displays when you mouse over it. For example in the Add New Building screen. Sometimes there's a delay between when you mouse over and when it displays. Could the ellipsis be displayed all the time rather than only when you mouse over it?
Also, if you tab across fields, please display the ellipsis to tell you there's an enumeration list and change it so I can hit enter or something to bring up the options in the enumeration list.

Add New Building - Tab through related fields
Improve the order in which you tab through the fields in the Add New Building screen by either redesigning the layout or changing what field tab moves you to. At present if I tab through the fields I don't do all of the location-related fields consecutively. For example I go from Building Name > Region Code > Date Book Value Assessed > Building Photo > State Code.
So in that example there two fields unrelated to location in between the location-related fields.
