  2. When there is an error in the document attached to a ticket that has been completed or replaced, the date of the replacement and the history of the comment cannot be viewed on the work order search screen.

    Is it possible to get a similar functionality like, Document Version Screen has the similar function (System --> Archibus Administrators Applicatoin Configuration --> Revisions by Document)

  3. I noticed that when I used the comments section to send an email from a work request, that there is no spellcheck feature to highlight words that are spelled incorrectly.

    As someone who does alot of communications in this manner, and doesnt have great spelling, this would be greatly appreciated.

  4. Due to security concerns, some clients cant assign all employees to thier assigned seat in the Space Console (Police Departments, Courts...). Archibus does not let you mark a seat as occupied without specifically assigning an employee to it. This makes it impossible to get an accurate vacancy count or visual of what seats are actually available. We need a way to manually mark a space as occupied or assign a placeholder user to multiple spaces so that clients can still see accurate vacancy and occupancy counts without having to assign employees to the spaces.

Our stakeholder group that uses service desk currently has a management team that would like to oversee all tickets that their service providers handle, but with SLA configurations, we can only assign 1 service desk manager per ticket. We would love to have more than 1 assigned/have a workaround where multiple SD managers can oversee the same request.

    Our current workaround is to have the same login for 3 people (The management team), but this is not great as the email for escalation can only route to the one email (which is 1 person's email and not all).

  6. The systems does not validate your records when you go though complex processes. It's critical that the system send some validation messages to the user. Examples:

    • if you forget location on a equipment, assign it to a PM and create a schedule, the PMS will keep a copy of the equipment information inside the pms table and you will keep it for a long time. If your SLA is based on location, it won't work and you won't know
    • if you delete a craft, you loose all the work logs associated to that craft, no messages

  7. Add ability to include move request fields in email content using binding expressions.

    example:
    Move: {mo.emid}
    From: {mo.from
    blid} - {mo.fromflid} - {mo.fromrmid}
    To: {mo.to
    blid} - {mo.toflid} - {mo.torm_id}

    And for group moves, include ability to email a list of the MO records in the group move:

    (from/to location would concatenate fromblid/fromflid/fromrmid .... )

  8. In the MAINTAINENCE CONSOLE --> WORK REQUEST SCREEN, While creating a Work Request there is a remove button(x) for Trades and Crafts person Assignment but there is no remove button (x) button for Work Logs.

    Can we add this feature / customisation in the newer versions of Archibus

    We wants that inspection results up to five times before can be called up / viewed

  10. Hello Team,

    We are looking to allow the Date to Perform field to be editable. Typically, the field is controlled by a hard-set date in the Service Level Agreement.

    We feel the need to be able to update this manually at times for certain service requests when the need arises. Allowing the flexibility of both keeping the hard set date and the ability to manually adjust when needed.

  11. Archibus is a powerful and complex tool. However, we've encountered some challenges with bugs and areas that appear less polished.

    Eptura relies on Integrator (PaaS), which is beneficial as it allows Eptura to concentrate on the product. However, this should not result in disconnecting from clients.

    Clients should have a more streamlined method to report and address issues, or to access articles on problems collaboratively. Here are some suggested features:

    • User-friendly search functionality across all following items
    • Integration of User Voice for enhanced feedback
    • Access to Use Cases and White Papers
    • Easy reporting of cases/issues/bugs

  12. Improve the Search and Manage Work Requests form with tool tips and modification of navigation / layout.

    For example, layout could be improved by (1) grouping certain fields under a heading. For example, Location for the group of 4 related fields and Date for the 6 date fields, and (2) keeping related fields in the same column.

  13. When migrating code and connectors to different environments for a client, often times the connectors in DEV, UAT and PROD will have the same connector name. This could be due to many factors, including custom db code that runs based on the connector name.

    It would be helpful to include the Connector Description in the email that is sent out via the connector email notifications. This way the connector code can remain the same in all environments w/ only the description being updated to include the environment name being sent from.

  14. Adding a calendar option to the Workplace catalog for a service request, rather than manually typing it in the work description would be extremely helpful.
    A simple example: I would like a picture hung in my office. I will be out on November 21, can you please do it then?

    Adding a Calendar to select the date and then store it with the work request would be perfect.

  17. it would be nice to have a parameter to deactivate the tagging feature in comment in OnSite and the Maintenance Console.
    The rational is that sometimes, Archibus is the back-end system that manages the work request.
    The communication with the customer is then handled by the front end system.
    In this scenario, we don't want Archibus to send emails to people for work requests.

  18. As of now USER DEFINED FIELDS (UDF) can be added through coding, We want here should be a feature in Web Central, from where we can add the new UDF's without touching the code.

  19. Currently, a requestor in Workplace and a technician in OnSite can view each other's comments, which is a great start. However, there is a missing piece to the communication roundtripping.

    A technician can tag the requestor when commenting from OnSite, who will receive an email notification. However, when a requestor comments in the Workplace, the technician will not get notified; thus, it is hard to respond in a timely matter.

    Can we implement a tagging feature when commenting in Workplace, similar to OnSite? This small enhancement will ensure the tagged person gets notified via email instantly so that they can…
