  1. Currently, a CF can only attach photos to a WR.
It would be useful to give CF the ability to attach other type of documents (e.g. PDFs).

    The use case is:
A Craftsperson has to complete a certificate (for example an ELECTRICAL SAFETY CERTIFICATE) when doing a Work Request.
The PDF version of the blank certificate, is automatically attached to the Work Request through the reference documents feature.
The Craftsperson accesses the blank certificate from OnSite, open it on their device, complete it, sign it, save it locally then attach it back to the WR.

  2. Currently the chat icon is bolded when there is a value in the em.phone field. however this field would typically contain the value of a business phone number that cannot be messaged. It would make more sense to have this associated with the em.cellular_number field which would be more likely setup for messaging.

  3. Currently, in the Maintenance Console, when a Supervisor assigns a Craftsperson to a Work Request and puts a comment, that comment does not appear in OnSite.

Craftsperson should be able to see all comments entered on the Work Request they have been assigned to. Especially when that comment is made at the time of the assignment.

The rational is that when a supervisor assigns a CF to a WR this is when they add a comment for the CF.

Users are confused as they're putting comments when assigning CF but then the CF does not see it.

  4. A person who uses an ACC account should se many different folders & models depending on its ACC rights. Only a few of them are related to the Facility Management « live » processes.

It must be possible to limit the ACC folder to a specified sub-tree.

The objective is to avoid opening models not related to ARCHIBUS, or which can alternative versions.

It must be possible to define a unique list of models behind the « building » button?

It should be setup in the afm_dwgs table with defining the right place to find them in ACC.

  5. Ability to "AutoReject" work requests based on the parameters set in the SLA.
For example: problem type cleaning is offered at Location A but not Location B. If a user submits a request for cleaning at Location A, the SLA routes it to be actioned further. If the user submits a request for cleaning at Location B, then SLA rejects the work and notifies the user that the service is not offered at this location.

  6. Use actual equipment photos instead of EQ Std photos in OnSite. Equipment photos not showing on OnSite after scanning QR code - the system is looking for Eq Std photo instead of actual equipment photo attached to the equipment record.

  10. Please consider ALL types of users / consumers when designing modules. We have been using the lease module for a number of years. Even today when I review the latest version it says Used By: Portfolio Managers, Lease Administrators.
We have maintenance people, finance people, occupying departments, all looking at the data from the lease module. It is not clear from the help which views are designed for these READ-ONLY people.

In the over ten years I have used Archibus I find this a problem in most modules. There have been some 'executive' views (the only people here who never…

  11. When an employee book for an other employee or a visitor, the pop-up booking confirmation window says "Confirmation was sent to your email" when in fact the email was sent to the other employee or the visitor. This is confusing cause the employee is looking to get that confirmation email.

  12. The ability to design Questionnaires for service request types and then display those questions within Workplace has proven to be valuable for customers. Using this same approach, allow customers to create Questionnaires for anything in the Service Catalog (including Work Requests) and then be able to see the answers for those questions within the Maintenance Console.

The ability to create questionnaires for Service Catalog items already exists -- you only now need to make an update to the Maintenance Console to display the results for work requests.

  13. The final button to confirm a meeting should read "Confirm" or similar instead of "Next ->" so the user is aware there are no more steps to complete and they are about to commit the reservation. Screenshot attached.

  14. When leases are extended or year by year the recurring costs often need to be updated, which is time-consuming. To streamline this process, we would like to see a copy button that allows users to copy the existing recurring cost information selected and then present it in a popup so that anything that has changed can be updated (usually the dates) and saved.

  15. Allow assigned CF to complete WR even though another CF is assigned.

Currently if there are two assigned the WR will not complete, and the screen does not refresh or indicate that the other CF needs to complete. Allow similar to the Mobile app V5 to optionally complete regardless of other CF being assigned. the current method produces additional admin.

  16. There could be a scenario where organizer may invite 20 people to a meeting but only 10 would attend in-person and remaining 10 would attend virtually. This may help organizer to manage the resources, such as services, catering, space management etc. Currently, there is no provision for determining whether people will attend the meeting virtually or in-person. Having a toggle option to indicate people as virtual while adding them to the Meeting room booking will allow the organizer to get an accurate count. Moreover, if you have your Outlook or Google calendar integrated with Archibus, you can send meeting links…

  17. When assigning a craftsperson within a work order and searching for a craftsperson code, we can see the auto search function appear and select a craftsperson from the list.

Anytime there is 2nd craftsperson added, that auto search function no longer works, and you must click the "..." to view the full list of options.

The auto-search function should still be enabled beyond just the first craftsperson added. I'm unsure if this is specific to craftspersons or other fields as well.

  18. It has been brought to my attention by clients and confirmed by Archibus that with the newer versions of Smart Client (Probably v2022 and after?), users will be kicked after 30 minutes of inactivity. In all other previous versions, users were able to remain in Smart Client indefinitely. This is favorable for our CAD/Revit users who may spend their entire day in CAD/Revit or Smart Client. Archibus says this change was made because the indefinite connection was problematic for SSO users so they've now hard-coded a 30 minute timeout.

I'm suggesting that this Smart Client timeout be configurable. A setting…

  20. One of our clients is currently reviewing all their Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products to ensure they meet their accessibility standards. They are committed to providing accessible solutions to all their users, in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

They use the Archibus SmartClient application and are currently assessing its accessibility compliance. However, they were unable to locate a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or any detailed accessibility documentation for the SmartClient application.

Would be great if SmartClient application has been assessed for accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards or Section 508.

Enhance the accessibility features of the…
