  1. When the organization uses SAML for authentication, you must setup a second instance of Web Central to support API calls. If the organization is using Onsite, then another instance of Web Central must be setup to support that application. Once these secondary environments are up, a user can go to the URL and attempt to log into those systems.

  3. Add ability to indicate a display order for floors on the Space Console on the FL table. Currently if a building has a floor 4 and a floor 14, floor 4 will be listed after floor 14 on the floor list.

  4. In current versions, when you configure a Service Desk SLA, you can only send the request to an Internal Service Provider and/or an External Service Provider. This means that the request can be assigned to as much as 2 different users. It would be very useful to be able to assign a Work Team as Service Provider (as for Maintenance SLAs).

  5. Many times Maintenance Console users (like supervisors, FMers, CFs, providers/contractors, ...) are not able to identify the requestors just by their Employee ID. So it would be very helpful that Maintenance Console shows also requestor name (i.e. first and last names from related EM record).

  6. This is continuance of existing support ticket

    Atm, Archibus REST api only supported when the security is configured using Single sign on (SAML)

    Please test / support Archibus REST api, when Archibus authentication OR LDAP authentication is selected for the security ? This is currently giving an error "Authentication must be not null"

    I just thought that with more and more people using the REST api as part of the integration, we will encounter issues where customers who have no identity system that supports Single sign on at its front end.

  7. Improve the floor image panel refresh when loading a new floor in Space Console v2022.2 when a fllor plan is open and highlighted selecting a new BL FL the panel clears the load the previous floor (unhighlighted) before loading the new floor (only slightly annoying but would improve the user experience)

  8. While there is a suggestion to add resource reservations to workplace reservations we need the ability to request resources to any room reservations as many users are now using workplace as the exclusive interface for their customers and they need the ability to request resources for their room reservations without going to the calendar console.

  9. Add all room / employee fields to the default datasources in the space console; this will allow end-users to 'configure' the lists as they need to. Customers use more employee table fields than the 1/2 dozen or so available to turn on.

    This is especially critical for SaaS deployments

  12. When you look at the numbers in Hotel Savings by Building and Hotel Savings by Departments reports, you will notice that it only includes employees and rooms assigned to department.
    Also, some em.emid do not match the rmptc.emid but they are counted.

    From the help file:

  13. When you look at the number of Employees and number of Visitors in the Location tab of the Bookings for a Date Range report, you will notice that the number of employees also includes those who booked for visitors.

    From the help file:
    • Employees = COUNT DISTINCT Employee Names for all the bookings on that floor for the filter criteria
    • Visitors = COUNT DISTINCT Visitor Names for all the bookings on that floor on that floor for the filter criteria

  14. Currently as soon as the user launches a new space chargeback calculation the results of previous calculations are cleared and there is no way of getting them back other than re-launching the chargeback with exactly the same parameters.
    Would it be possible to store in a permanent way such results, so that users will be able to access them over time and perhaps do monitoring/reporting?

  15. SmartClient SAML sign-in opens an authorization form popup, which shows the Web Central home page after authentication succeeds.
    The user then needs to click the OK button to close the authorization form.

    It would be nice if SmartClient closes the authorization form automatically once the Web Central home page loaded successfully.

  16. There are views in the product which aren't setup to adopt any security groups for accessing things such as the buttons to save.

    For example the: Project Management Console, Lease Management Console

    Client seem to like these views but in large organizations, some of that data was setup so there are VPAs for certain data to be visible to the client.   17. In 2022.02, in order for users to quickly make use of features such as scanning a QR code or booking through a Kiosk, the guest account has to be enabled. The problem with the guest account is the password cannot be changed easily if a client doesn't have access the environment as it's hardcoded in a few areas of the product (/schema/ab-products/essential/dev/workplace/src/utils/authentication.js and /schema/ab-core/views/sign-in/ab-sign-in.js). The other problem is because of this, every environment in 2022.02 would have the same password for the guest account.   18. I would suggest having the possibility to add multiple parts for a single step in a procedure in order to have an estimation more accurate (or actually useful, because we can't even use the feature as it's limiting to single part) per step.
    I would definitely explore the use of Bill of Material (BOM) that could be useful for specific to pmp or specific to pms (because sometimes the procedure is the same, but based on the equipment, as example, filter sizes can differ).

When user session expired in Smart client, the user will get the “Unable to connect to WebCentral server at the specified URL….” Error message and then he need to go back to the login screen to check the SAML authentication. Client found it annoying that everyday they have to close the error dialog, re-choose the project so that they can go into the login screen, then re-choose the option to pick on "USE SAML authentication" and then wait for a minute to get the login screen to load.   20. In the browser offering the availability of the Workplace App once the user has selected to not use the App by choosing 'X' to close the offering, stop offering to use the Workplace App after so many closes.
