  1. To develop new features on Workplace using the actual geolocation of the device.
    That works on web version of Workplace but on mobile doesn't.
    Because the permission for locating the device is not enable on Workplace App.
    It would be very useful for the next requierement.

    Set Up
    User only can book hot-desking using QR. Because, to enforce users to use
    the reservation and make it on the office.

    Problem
    A cheeky user takes a photo of the QR to make reservation from their house.

    Solution
    Using the geolocation device we can monitoring if the user is on the office…

  3. Application parameter to control Filters applied on Initial Load of the Space Console for SaaS clients.

    Just as the AbSpaceRoomInventoryBAR-SpaceConsoleDefaultLayers application parameter allows a system administrator to control which layers it's users see by default, it would be beneficial for SaaS users to allow them to set which filters are applied by default for their users.

    For example, if they want to toggle on the 'Selected Floors Only' filter by default, if they don't want to have to spend too much time training casual users of the Space Console.

  4. Please add the work request ID onto actions created through the moves console (when generate service request is checked off) and if possible add the move's code to the work request that is created.

    Ideally the two would be linked so that when you click on the work request id in the moves console, it would pull up the work request in a pop-up window the way that linked work requests do. Similarly it would be use full to have something similar happen when the move code id is selected in the related work request.

  5. In Workplace, limit the calendar to working days (configurable).

    It should be possible to configure working days, and hide / disable all dates outside (=weekends).

    And / or, "à la" Outlook, toggle between a full week / working days view.

  7. When opening the My Profile window to select a user interface language, the list of languages is based on the currently selected language. Example for German:

    • Italienisch (Italien)
    • Französisch (Kanada)
    • Englisch (Australien)
    • Französisch (Frankreich)
    • Japanisch (Japan)
    • Deutsch (Deutschland)
    • ..

    When you're a non-German speaker you will have trouble selecting your language since all names are in German and you probably don't know how your language is spelled in German.

    The situation might be worse if the language is set to Japanese and you don't know how to set it back to English. Hint, it's: 英語 (イギリス).

  8. When assigning a craftsperson within a work order and searching for a craftsperson code, we can see the auto search function appear and select a craftsperson from the list.

    Anytime there is 2nd craftsperson added, that auto search function no longer works, and you must click the "..." to view the full list of options.

    The auto-search function should still be enabled beyond just the first craftsperson added. I'm unsure if this is specific to craftspersons or other fields as well.

  9. Allow the administrator to define fields of type "Lookup" in Maintenance Checklists as can be done in Compliance Questionnaires.

    This would then be usable in both Web Central and OnSite

    An example of use case is when PM work requests are used to track inspections. and we need to keep track of the inspection device used (e.g a CO2 meter). Those devices have been put into the EQ table so that means we need to associate an EQID with the inspection while on the field.   10. One of our clients is currently reviewing all their Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products to ensure they meet their accessibility standards. They are committed to providing accessible solutions to all their users, in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

    They use the Archibus SmartClient application and are currently assessing its accessibility compliance. However, they were unable to locate a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or any detailed accessibility documentation for the SmartClient application.

    Would be great if SmartClient application has been assessed for accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards or Section 508.

  11. In the Space Console, choosing a Highlight with no Border Highlight and then performing a PDF Export will display only the Highlight in the Legend. Choosing Border Highlights with no Highlight will display only Border Highlights in the Legend. If both are chosen, only the Highlight legend will be displayed in the PDF Export. Both legends should be displayed in this case.

  12. We have a use case scenario to download the data locally in the Onsite App.

    Case 1
    When the data is downloading, we need to keep the phone screen on, we have touch the screen again and again, if the phone backlight goes off, the downloading pauses.

    Case 2
    When the data is downloading, we cannot even minimize the app, if we do, the downloading pauses even worse sometimes, it starts again from the start.

    Assuming the Offline data to be preapred takes 30 minutes to download, then it's very frustating for the user to keep the Onsite App open…

  13. While I know it can be manually adjusted, for simplicity and control in SaaS installations, it would be handy to have an application parameter that will control which Labels will show by default in the Space Console and floor plan views.

    Having the layer control AbSpaceRoomInventoryBAR-SpaceConsoleDefaultLayers application parameter is great, just for the reason that the clients want to control what their users see when they pull up a floor plan.

    Being able to easily mandate which Label shows up on initial load would be similarly useful.

  14. Workplace controls can 'disappear' when different Windows Accessibility Contrast themes are selected.
    While accessibility improvements have been and continue to be made, users can change their Windows contrast and still have issues navigating the Workplace app.
    Official accessibility support in these configurations is desired to support government clients.
    Example: Using the "Aquatic" setting (see below on how to set), there were still multiple WCAG findings using a browser accessibility test tool related color contrast ratios.

    Steps (Windows PC):
    Settings -> Accessibility -> Contrast Themes
    Choose Aquatic
    Navigate to Workplace

  15. If a user logs in to self-service (".../workplace") and there are no more licenses available at that time, the user will not receive an info message, but rather an endlessly rotating circle on a black background.

    Here it is required that the user receives a meaningful message from the system.

  16. Add Reservation Locations to Favourites. See what days your favourite spaces are available, not only when you go to a specific date. If we could assign user-specific "nicknames" that would be nice too (such as "Corner by the Window" or "Close to Print Station" for example).

  18. Allow configuration where users can check into reservations/hoteling spaces only by QR code to ensure that the user is onsite. In many cases they do not want the user at home to check into their booking they must be on site during the check in window.

  19. There could be a scenario where organizer may invite 20 people to a meeting but only 10 would attend in-person and remaining 10 would attend virtually. This may help organizer to manage the resources, such as services, catering, space management etc. Currently, there is no provision for determining whether people will attend the meeting virtually or in-person. Having a toggle option to indicate people as virtual while adding them to the Meeting room booking will allow the organizer to get an accurate count. Moreover, if you have your Outlook or Google calendar integrated with Archibus, you can send meeting links…

  20. Updating OOTB Service Request Types in Service Catalog.

    We are looking to add the functionality of editing the Menu Title for Out-Of-The-Box service request types in the Service Catalog e.g. SERVICE DESK - INDIVIDUAL MOVE, SERVICE DESK - HOTELING.

    Currently, the Service Catalog is where all the request types in Workplace are created. It shows the Out-Of-The-Box request types and allows you to update the Menu Titles, but changes to the Menu Titles or descriptions are not reflected in the corresponding work request tiles in Workplace.
