Allow "Serraview Account: Email Confirmation" to be edited
New users receive a Welcome to Serraview email.
This email says "Click to confirm and create a Serraview account".
From there, Normal users are directed to the login screen. It is not clear that they then have to click Reset Password in order to access their account.
If this wording can be updated or the email template allowed to be edited, it would help clear things up.13 votes -

Update the check-in message of a desk reservation in the Calendar.
As an admin, it would be beneficial to be able to update the highlighted text in the attached screenshot to
"Check-in window is from 7am to 10am. Desks reservations without check-ins will be automatically cancelled at 10am"This will help promote Desk booking etiquette.

Show Pictures in VBS, Spaces, & Locator
As there is a feature to upload pictures of rooms in either VBS or Spaces, it would be nice to see pictures in those modules. Either hovering over a room or clicking it brings up a card with room info. Showing the picture as well would be ideal. Having this available in Locator would be helpful. Currently it only shows up in Engage.

Modify Engage to be more User Friendly
Currently Engage is used for reservation. It would be nice if it could be used for wayfinding as well. As I understand it, Locator could be going away. Would be nice to use Engage to search for a conference room or a person. Perhaps have the option of Administrators turning on/off functions of Engage based on the client's needs.

New Color by options
The request is to allow for adding color by on other space attributes already in Serraview. Currently we are only able to add Color Bys on custom fields. This has resulted in having to add custom fields and ARIs to populate the data that already exists.
New Color Bys:
Neighborhood
Organization Levels: ie. Level 1, Level 2, Level 3
Employee Organization Levels
i.e. custom neighborhood field on spaces that populates the value with the neighborhood value.

Inactivity Logout Warning
It would be helpful if there was a popup window that said "You are about to be signed out due to inactivity, would you like to stay logged in for (the time out setting) another 30 minutes?" Also, if you could make the browser tab or minimized browser flash to get the users attention. Then after a few minutes if the users doesn't do anything, the popup would change to say: "You have been logged out due to inactivity, please click ok to refresh your browser". Export Reports with selected output type
Have all Reports in the Service Request category export with the Output Type selected rather than automatically exporting as the default file type. For example, if a report is selected to export as a PDF, it should export as a PDF rather than automatically exporting as a Word document.

Change the date displayed for all day bookings in different time zones
Viewing bookings in different time zones (specifically time zones ahead of yours) is confusing.
Example: someone in LA is going to NY so they book a desk all day for Jan 5th. When they view the booking in Spaces/VBS or Engage, it says it begins on the 4th because 12AM on the 5th in NY is 9PM on the 4th in LA.
Part of the confusion, I believe, is the lack of consistency between Engage and Spaces/VBS. "Local Time" in Spaces/VBS is the building's Local Time, but "Local Time" in Engage is the User's local time (see attached images).

Markers Report
A floorplan report that you can select which you choose which markers to display in the report via a dropdown.
Also an option to choose the size of the markers in the report.

Insights Floorplan Dashboard - Desks with No Activity
Provide a simple visualisation of a floorplan that highlights via a colour desks that are wired up but have not had any SVLive activity within the report period.
This will be useful for easily identifying desks without activity, especially on large floorplans. The report can then be scheduled to send on a regular basis to local teams who can review any issues with wire up.

Turn certain drawing layers on/off within Spaces viewer
Our client would like to have a layer that shows specific manufacturing/lab equipment but can be toggled on/off and is only accessible to certain user roles for security reasons. I can see this also being beneficial for IFM to toggle on/off certain fixtures and lighting, or even for space planners to toggle furnishings on/off.

Engage People Tab - Current Status (Active/Away)
The Engage People Tab should visually indicate if a user is active, away, checked in or just booked a desk. This will allow people to quickly check the people tab to determine if someone is active on site today or not.

Add ability to measure area, not just linear, to the measurement tool
Like measurement tools in CAD products, it would be useful to be able to measure custom areas, not only linear, with the measurement tool. This could be a click and drag box, or better yet custom points which when you return to the starting point provides the area measurement within. This would be very useful for project planning for people without access or skills in CAD products.

Remember space type selection after updating space
When I am working in Spaces and I select the Space Type colors I want to see and uncheck the ones I do not, I make a change, such as changing the seat count by opening a room and making the change, after I Update Space by clicking the blue button all the space types have turned back on, not the way I left it when I checked the spaces I want to see.

When searching for a team/person on the search results, list the location that the result is found at. For example "Team A - Building 1 - Floor 02"

When looking to delete your own booking, add a clear and larger "Cancel booking" label alongside the trash can icon.

Administrators able to book beyond future booking range
Administrators should be able to book beyond the future booking limit that has been set up, for example for an upcoming event, without having to expand the range for all users.

Allow movement of space numbers on floor plans
We would like to be able to move the space numbers to not be centered on corridors as they may overlap with other space names/numbers and make it impossible to use them for wayfinding. We would like to be able to shift those numbers to where it may make more sense for users and admins to easily see labels in the correct places.
