Meeting Room Summary Notification – Admin Support Feature
Add a feature that allows meeting rooms to send a summary notification to selected recipients, such as the admin team, either at the start of the day or at a set time before a scheduled meeting.
Purpose:
To keep the admin team informed and prepared for upcoming meetings.Key Features:

Include the Any Workspace type on the mobile app
Hello,
I have noticed that users are often confused when booking via the mobile app.
In some cases, they are unable to find available offices because they do not realise they need to manually change the workspace type to “Office” on the initial booking screen to see office spaces.
Unlike the desktop version, which defaults to “Any workspace,” the mobile app requires users to select a specific type before searching.
Would it be possible to implement a similar default setting on the mobile app to help reduce confusion?

Dogs in the Office
Different colour for booked tables with dogs.
Add another question when booking a table that allows you to also check in your dog. Colleagues can see which table has been booked (grey) and which person has also brought their dog to work (e.g. yellow).
This would be very helpful for people who are afraid of dogs or have allergies and want to stay away from tables with dogs.39 votes -
Adding a scanning delay
An admin should be able to add a delay in the camera so that it doesn't start scanning whichever qr it locates first.
So in order for the user to have enough time to point to the correct qr code and then for the camera to scan it there should an option for adding a certain delay.

Admins unable to override maximum booking durations for meeting rooms
Currently, maximum booking duration for meeting rooms are enabled for group. However, Admins are unable to override this rule and this is causing issues as sometimes there are uers that needed the room for valid reasons. Please get this override rule enabled soonest so that it can help in our daily operations.

Desk booking slots restrictions should have option to operate independently of each other
Desk booking slots restrictions should have option to operate independently of each other.
Example:
Group A has restriction for 2 booking slots
Group B has restriction for 1 booking slots
User should have option to book all 3 slots providing they have permissions to both groups.Currently system counts the users booking and restricts in all groups they have permission too. So if they booking 1 or 2 slots in Group A they will not be able to book any desks in Group B.

Edit bookings older than 30 days - required for monthly reports
Currently you can only edit a booking within the last 30 days, Running reports at the beginning of the month for the previous month then doesn't have the data required on all bookings, this needs to be extended to a minimum of 45 days.

Option to default certain room panel's so it can be set to 'Private'
To have the function to set be able to set individual room panel's as private so that these can not be booked, as currently booking the room out for a period of time is the only option there is.

Microsoft Teams Enabled room bookings
I think it would be useful to be able to populate your own Teams Call details into the booking form so that Engage informs the Teams enabled room of the meeting Details and not create new credentials.
For example if i have a meeting in my diary that is recurring with a Dial-In information for Teams. I decide actually we shall all attend onsite. What would be good is to book the room and pre-populate the booking with the call details i already have for my meeting.
Otherwise when i book Engage and it books the device it will create…

Make non-consecutive days available for closing resources. Right now, days can only be closed consecutive days. I get many requests to close resources on non-consecutive days, such as a Monday and then Wednesday.

Hovering over a meeting - needs to remain longer.
When hovering over a meeting - the meeting details show for just a few seconds before disappearing.
This should continue to remain and show as long as the mouse is hovered over the meeting.1 vote -
Unify booking behavior between booking grid and booking form
At the moment, when booking a space directly on the booking grid, associated service items are not added unless the booking form is opened at least once.
The booking should behave in the same way whether or not you book on the grid or open the booking form.

Add ability to hide +15min option from room screens
Our web application is set to only have meetings of 30 min increments - however on the room screens, the option for 15 min meeting increments show up - we have been told that there is no way to remove the 15 min button from the screens - this is confusing for the user experience because when 15 mins is shown on the screen, the screen only books 30 min increments. Please allow us to delete the 15 min option from the room screens!!!!

Allow Hourly Bookings to Span Midnight
Currently, hourly bookings cannot extend across midnight (12:00 AM). This creates inefficiency, as users must make two separate bookings—one before and one after midnight—for what is effectively a single continuous booking. Allowing bookings to span across midnight would simplify the process and improve efficiency for users.

Additional User Roles
Ability to add additional User Roles to be searchable on the floorplan. Currently there is "Fire Marshall", "First Aider" and "Mental Health First Aider" but our client would like to add some additional roles for supporting colleagues.

Customizable pop-up
When a floor plan has no desks or desks are disabled for booking or search for desk has no hits, a user will see a pop-up message "There are currently no available personal spaces. Press OK to search again or Cancel to stay in the floor plan.". Would be good if that message can be customized and applicable per floor plan.

Improve Logging and Messaging for Administrators
Our organization has experienced three (3) separate critical production issues in which Managed Meeting Room requests submitted through the Engage web application were automatically deleted by the system. Although the root causes of these issues differed, the consistent behavior across incidents made it difficult for both our organization and Eptura Support to promptly identify and troubleshoot the problems.
In each instance, when a reservation request was automatically deleted, the system failed to send email notifications to system administrators and the requestor. In addition, the booking summary incorrectly recorded the deletion as having been completed by the user rather than by…

Disallow double book for the hourly personal space
Currently, Engage allows users to book multiple different desks at the same time and date under “Hourly Personal Space.” Please align this with the “All Personal Spaces” or “Shift Booking” setting so that users cannot book multiple desks simultaneously. After all, each user only has one seat—and one place to sit at a time.
