Asset Hierarchy - Ability to filter by entity & location
Current feature does not allow someone to filter by entity and/or location.
- Tested into sandbox
- Turned into production but ran into roadblocks with filtering.
- Happy to provide a focus group for feedback with Product.
- The feeling is that it’s not ready yet for production, should be updated a little more yet. However, the feeling is that this feature will be VERY VALUABLE

Update Lifetime (Meter) Logic
Lifetime is the sum of the difference. For example, if I add a truck at 4000 miles. Then drive 700 miles, the Lifetime Meter will be 700, and the Current Mileage will be 4700. This causes confusion for the clients.
Currently, this encourages clients to add the Asset at 0 miles - even if it's not accurate. Classic has ability to add past dates; however, Lightning does not allow this.
Clients are being encouraged to ignore the difference (see example above) and when they do a reset for real, they will then match. There is no reason for the lifetime…

When a request is sent in via email to request, the attachments need to be uploaded to the request portal. It is difficult to implement the request portal to a college campus, publishing the email to request email works great however, none of the attachments make it into the request portal.

Expand the limit of 1200 Unique Parts on a Cycle Count to at least 5000
An enterprise client is requesting Eptura Asset expand the limit of 1200 unique parts on a Cycle Count. This enterprise client needs to upload 8K unique parts in the template. Currently, there is a limit of 1200 unique parts in Lightning/Eptura Asset. In Classic/legacy version of Eptura Asset, clients could upload 5K+ unique parts at a time.

Add Granularity to the Security Roles
Many enterprise clients are requesting greater granularity be added to security roles. For example, labor codes need to be added by site. However, the enterprise Administrators cannot allow end users to have access to site settings; therefore, the responsibility to update labor codes per site is given back to the Admins. This is one of countless examples.

Add a permission feature option in security roles to prevent a technician from manually updating/overriding the completed date on a WO
Currently, a technician can manually update/override the completion date on a WO. An enterprise client wants the ability to prevent technician's from updating the completion date manually, as this is overriding the completed status date.

Add Asset Update Import Tool
Currently, the system has an Asset Import Tool for NEW Assets. However, many clients have requested the ability to UPDATE Asset Details in mass. Currently the options are to update Asset Details manually or to engage the data team as a paid service. For example, if clients add a custom field, they want the ability to update this custom field in mass.
Another use case is with a large enterprise client with 80,000 containers/assets, causing a large impact. At least manually, their repair/replace custom field is updated.2 votes -
Enhance search functionality with the use of AI
Enhance search bar capability to go beyond workorder number search or keyword. Customers are now accustomed to the mainstream experience of just asking a tool what they are looking for. Sample queries below: Followed up with a secondary question asking if the user would like to visualize this data in a visual form.
“Show me all assets with more than three breakdowns in the past six months.”
“Which vendors have the longest average response time to work orders?”
“What’s the total downtime cost for HVAC systems last quarter?”
“Which locations are consuming the most maintenance labor hours?”

Sort by items not currently in a bin
This was a feature that was removed recently. I need a way to quickly find parts that are not currently in a bin. I used this feature every day and really need it added back. We add new parts almost everyday and then assign them to a work order before ever putting them in a bin. Without this feature parts are getting used and we have no easy way of knowing. It used to be called Blanks under the bin location filter right under select all.

Inventory Module on Mobile Application
Integrate the inventory module in the mobile application. This would allow mechanics to consume items from the inventory when on a call so that inventory levels can be tracked more accurately.

Add sub categories in the service tasks.
You could better group the service tasks for the need. For example, if you have service tasks for PMs and repairs, you could group them accordingly under the class.
Please see screen shot as an example.

Correct filter for assigned names in work orders.
Newest update to Asset has changed the filter in the Assigned column to not only list the people assigned to work orders but also requesters, who do not get assigned, and old employees set as inactive. That makes for a long list to scroll through. Return the function to only list in the check box drop down the names currently assigned to work orders.

For Custom fields, can this be available for translation to the language packs.
Having the ability to use languages in different areas of the tool will allow us greater adoption in different countries

Add ability to print an attachment when printing a work order
The client requesting this feature uses the attachments to ensure processes are followed with exactness. Legacy versions of ManagerPlus allowed the ability to print an attachment when simultaneously printing a work order. This is not available on Lightning.

THIS IS A BUG - Asset downtime doesn't update correctly when manually changed
I wasn't sure where else to notify someone about this. If I create a work order which contributes to the downtime of an asset, the start and end time of the down time is rarely correct because we can't mark it on a computer while we're fixing it. As such we often have to go back and manually change the start/end time of down time on an asset in a work order. When I do that, it seems to track the correct amount of time, which is good, but visually it still shows the original date of when the downtime…
