  1. Add a scroll bar for the Type and Equipment drop down lists. The "Show Available Spaces" field at the bottom of the page has an equally sized white field above it. Unless the user knows this, they could easily misinterpret this to mean that the displayed list is complete rather than scroll down for more options.

  2. As a Space Planner I would like to see in a heat map of the floor which will help me see which desks are always used and never used.

    Data should have a combined view of:
    - Wired SVLive data
    - Wireless SVLive data
    - Sensor data

    Note: The report should show all the floors across our building in one report.

  3. As a System Administrator or Security Auditor,
    I would like to be able to see all Secured Actions for each user on a single tab,
    So that I can more easily view access at the user-level and identify whether or not each user has appropriate permissions.

    Currently, we must find the roles associated with a user, and then go to another tab to filter by each role to find all of the associated Secured Actions.

  4. In the equipment section of 'Reservation Assist', all unique equipment/attributes show when these may not be applicable for the Users of Engage.

    There should be a configuration option that allows you to select which attributes you wish to display in the Reservation Assist.

  5. Currently, the Default People feature only allows for configuration at the Region level. The Location option needs to allow for lower level options - i.e. city, building, etc. In our instance, we have multiple planners per region and as a result cannot use this default feature. Service Requests are currently manually reviewed and assigned one by one. This is labor intensive and takes unnecessary time.

  6. When tagging in VBS, you are unable to see the tags on the floorplan (you can see this on the stack). To view the floorplan with the tag, you have to access this through the spaces application. Can we put it on the VBS?

  7. The error messages in Engage have no details as to why a booking cannot go through (examples). This causes users to believe the tool itself is not working.

    1. Daily Booking has reached its limit. Please try another day.
    2. Booking cannot be made outside of the Booking window.

  8. Request to create a report (Excel) to show Retention Notes from the Workplace or VBS modules. There is an existing report (Workpoints) that shows Comments added in VBS, but we are requesting to add the Retention Notes also.

  9. When new versions of existing floorplans are imported there should be a warning if spaces (and employees) will be removed due to that import. This is a problem because often the floor id on the importer 'refreshes' to the first floor in the list and an entire floor of data & occupancy is lost because the wrong floor is loaded.

    There are lots of suggestions that we have to reduce this risk. In order of preference:

    • A warning identifying specific spaces and occupants that will be removed with the import & an option to proceed or cancel.
    • A cancel button…

  11. When creating a manual Snapshot, a message appears instantly saying "The snapshot was successfully created", but the snapshot will not actually be completed for some time afterward. It would be great if there was a progress bar indicating what stage of creation the Snapshot is at, similar to Scenario Plan.

  12. In the proposed new structure of Serraview modules, some items are placed into categories that don’t seem to make sense. Below are my proposed changes to the structure:
    Move “User Security” to Admin Settings > System Configuration. "User Security" is an action that is protected and given to a special role to ensure all users are approved before granting access.

    Move Org Hierarchy, Space Types and Bulk Updates to Resources. These actions are commonly accessed by various roles for the work they perform and not as restricted.

  13. As an Engage user, I would love to see Engage used for RSVPs to events that companies can host within their spaces (or off-site events)- that won't count against our regular seat counts.

    Examples:
    1) Our client is hosting a holiday event, and for social distancing purposes, want to cap the capacity to a certain number. It would be lovely to set up a "building" as the event itself to help monitor RSVPs in one place.
    2) During COVID, our client sets up "Outdoor Offices" that are temporary sites to encourage company culture while waiting to return to the office,…

  14. Wondering if we can get BOS to generate move Placards for our Move Vendors? We currently manually do a Mail Merge to make signage placards or labels (see attached PDF for example) but if Serraview can automatically generate one based on the BOS information, this would save us a lot of time.

  16. You can currently perform an Occupancy Import to Bulk Update Retention Statuses. It would be great to also have the ability to update Retention Status Comments in either this same import or via the Bulk Update tool.

  17. Make the line that's in VBS & Scenario Planner VBS underneath the floor that you can click and drag to enlarge the size of the floor, much more obvious.

  18. Configure the Engage application to receive and manage digital access credentials from HID.

    This would enable employees mobile devices (e.g. smartphone) to gain access to secured doors, gates, lockers, printers, networks, services, etc, in replacement of a traditional physical access pass.

    Would significantly reduce the administration of physical security management, including issuing, temporary and lost passes, termination, and increase enterprise security.

  19. Currently when you select a booked desk, it will display the same colour as an available desk which can cause confusion to users as it appears available.

    E.g. All available desks are configured to be green. When you select a reserved desk (blue) it will change to green. This should remain blue or be another colour, not the same colour as available.

  20. Can the system be modified to use a vector based graphic for the background rather than the current raster based format? When zooming into the floor plan, or printing out the floor plan, the background pixelates extensively, especially on larger floor plate files. Because of the pixelation, we will need to rework quite a few of our CAD files to make them presentable to our client.

    I've attached a couple of examples, vector based image from current CAFM system, and the same floor in Serraview.
