  1. Currently, the Default People feature only allows for configuration at the Region level. The Location option needs to allow for lower level options - i.e. city, building, etc. In our instance, we have multiple planners per region and as a result cannot use this default feature. Service Requests are currently manually reviewed and assigned one by one. This is labor intensive and takes unnecessary time.

  2. Add an option to view seats with a RETENTION STATUS to Spaces->View Only -> Change Space Types View to UNOCCUPIED view.
    Currently you can check Occupied or Unoccupied. The intent is to ensure data is visible so viewers don't assume all vacant desks are available.

  3. In the proposed new structure of Serraview modules, some items are placed into categories that don’t seem to make sense. Below are my proposed changes to the structure:
    Move “User Security” to Admin Settings > System Configuration. "User Security" is an action that is protected and given to a special role to ensure all users are approved before granting access.

    Move Org Hierarchy, Space Types and Bulk Updates to Resources. These actions are commonly accessed by various roles for the work they perform and not as restricted.

  4. Several standard reports include an "Area" metric but is unclear what that means. Some "Area" metrics are providing Gross SF and some Usable SF but continue to say "Area". Ask to retitle the column header to understand what type of space is being captured and provided in the reports.

  5. Can the system be modified to use a vector based graphic for the background rather than the current raster based format? When zooming into the floor plan, or printing out the floor plan, the background pixelates extensively, especially on larger floor plate files. Because of the pixelation, we will need to rework quite a few of our CAD files to make them presentable to our client.

    I've attached a couple of examples, vector based image from current CAFM system, and the same floor in Serraview.

  6. As a Move Manager,
    I would like better sort and filter options in the BOS UI
    So that I can more easily get to the information I need to access.

    Currently, you can only sort based on the occupant name. It would be nice to be able to sort by to/from location, Workstation type, and/or other details.

    The filter options in BOS show data from the entire portfolio, rather than data specific to the particular move project a user is in. It would be helpful if the filters for Team, From Floors, and To Floors display/allow you to select only…

Certain businesses are required to follow regulatory guidelines regarding cybersecurity; one such guideline, New York Department of Financial Services Cybersecurity Regulations (23 NYCRR Part 500), requires that any platform hosting non-public data from covered entities (such as employee PII) must be protected by MFA. Most folks can handle this via their SSO configurations, but there are cases where that is not feasible. In those cases, the ability to deploy, at a minimum, a TOTP phone based authenticator token would be greatly appreciated.

  9. For more complicated environments that have multiple directories which do not share trust, the ability to assign multiple distinct Identity Providers within the SSO configuration would be extremely helpful.

  11. Default users have access to Service Requests so they can submit requests; however, the provides them the option to see ALL submitted requests. We need an option to customize permissions for default users so they can only see requests they have submitted, as confidential information may be included in these requests. Even if not confidential, default users should not have access to move requests for an entire company.

  12. When you send a user an email to reset their password with the "Send Logon Info" button, the email they receive does not tell them how long the link will be active. It would be nice to see "Password reset link will expire in [x] minutes" or something like that in this email.

  14. In the previous version we could "Synchonize the Administrators file" which made any changes to Users access immediate (now under the Workplace Admin screen).
    Nowadays it takes hours - usually overnight for any changes to come into effect. We have our EA's update Serraview and when they report an access issue they are "in the mode" to update Serraview, but now they have to wait overnight and may not have the same enthusiasm, or time, the following morning. Ultimately the delay affects our Serraview accuracy so a button or a link to enable us to force these changes through would…

  16. Some Spaces users/clients capture different information in building name and address, and both can be relevant when trying to search for a floor. It only works with building name currently.
    Requesting that SV enhances the Spaces floor search function to also search for building address.

  17. Within SV security, uploading files via File upload is coupled with uploading attachments in Service Requests. The action "General - Can Upload Files" covers both. This presents issues when giving access to lower level SR only users.
    Requesting that SV splits these out into multiple actions.

  18. Different views and visualizations in the Spaces module can be highly valuable to different kinds of users. For users with only Spaces access, there isn't a good way to view org allocation without running Floorplan Block.

    Requesting that SV builds an org allocation view in Spaces for this purpose.

  19. You can currently perform an Occupancy Import to Bulk Update Retention Statuses. It would be great to also have the ability to update Retention Status Comments in either this same import or via the Bulk Update tool.

  20. It would be great to be able to select multiple space types at a time to push defaults. For example, we regularly push to default for the workpoint count, but each space type has to be done individually. This takes unnecessary time.
