  1. API specific 'playground' or 'push/publish' function to verify API functionality/changes.

    Because the API has the ability to create data points, there should be safeguards, sandboxes, or playgrounds in place that allow for testing before feature publishing.

  2. The ManagerPlus API v2 currently supports GET and POST for /Assets, but returns HTTP 405 for PATCH/PUT methods. This prevents programmatic updates to existing asset records.

    Use Case:
    We need to bulk-update asset fields (descriptions, statuses, etc.) for our 2,400+ asset inventory without manual UI edits.

    Requested Feature:
    Enable PATCH or PUT on /api2/Assets/{assetKey} to allow updating existing assets via API.

    Expected Behavior:
    PATCH /api2/Assets/{assetKey}

    Would enable automated data quality workflows and reduce manual administrative overhead for maintaining accurate asset records.

  3. We need the ability to make API calls that retrieve or set any and all fields associated with asset records, including standard fields, custom fields, budget fields, hierarchy fields, and any other asset properties. Currently, the API documentation doesn't clearly expose all available fields or provide comprehensive endpoints for accessing the full asset schema. This would enable:

    -Bulk operations on all asset attributes programmatically

    -Complete asset records in API responses (not truncated/limited)

    -Field discovery without reverse-engineering existing assets

    -Integration with external systems that need to read(at least)/write all asset data (including status/state)

  5. Currently the Open Form Portal option leaves lots of vulnerability for hacking or malicious malware to be introduced by uploading attachments. A good feature to ADD would be the ability to add an ON/OFF button to enable the ability to allow attachments to be uploaded or not via the portal. That would give users the ability to choose what works best for their company.

    Right not you have the On/Off function for everything else, so I feel that adding it for attachments should be a simple an easy way to assist with the vulnerability issue.

  6. Clients need a way to force technicians to perform the Inspection/complete the Service Task(s) before completing the WO. Currently, the client can toggle on "Service Task with parts and labor" requirement on the Work Order Workflow Settings; however, a part is not always required.

    In the screenshot below, the technician was able to complete the Work Order without having completed the Inspection.

  8. Sample use case: Measure how heavily each vehicle is being used relative to how long it's been in service. This way, you can spot an overworked vehicle that will need replacement sooner.

    Vehicle: 2023 Ford Transit Van
    In service date: 200 days ago
    Total Miles Driven: 25,000
    Expected Daily Miles: 100

    Formula: utilization Ratio = (25,000 / (200x100) ) x 100 = 125%

  9. Enhance search bar capability to go beyond workorder number search or keyword. Customers are now accustomed to the mainstream experience of just asking a tool what they are looking for. Sample queries below: Followed up with a secondary question asking if the user would like to visualize this data in a visual form.

    “Show me all assets with more than three breakdowns in the past six months.”
    “Which vendors have the longest average response time to work orders?”
    “What’s the total downtime cost for HVAC systems last quarter?”
    “Which locations are consuming the most maintenance labor hours?”

  10. Integrate the inventory module in the mobile application. This would allow mechanics to consume items from the inventory when on a call so that inventory levels can be tracked more accurately.

  11. When completing the "Receiving" portion of the PO it would be helpful if the lines came up in numerical order. Currently, they are displayed in random order. My discussion with the support team indicates that this "Random" order is working as intended. This is cumbersome to my team when we are processing large receipts especially with backorder items.

  12. Have the ability to enter the work order details when creating a new work order. you currently have to create the work order then go back into it to add the details.

  13. Warehouse exposed in Invoice API. It is available in the built in BI tool. But as we are exporting the data to our BI tool and ERP; we need the warehouse so we can alleviate inventory values appropriately.

  15. When establishing a new warehouse, the "Warehouse Manager" drop down lists the employee ID. It would be helpful to have the employee's name here. Additionally, if we could begin typing to limit the drop down it would speed things up.

  16. Have a Work Request Completed Date in open API. Right now the completed date is derived from a Work Order completed date. However if a Request is cancelled/completed without a WO, we have no way to indicate that it's cancelled.

  17. Add notes as an option on column chooser for reports. I cant pull the notes from the work orders. My maint team uses notes to put down what they completed.

  18. Add ability to add multiple parts at once. Example: List required columns the same as an inventory view page and fill them in to add batches of inventory.

  20. Save progress of an inspection, rather than having to restart every time you exit the inspection. This way multiple employees can continue an inspection on different shifts.
